Is There No End to the Vancouver Canucks' Freefall?
One of the many things that stood out to me during the "bubble" Stanley Cup Playoffs of 2020 was how well the Vancouver Canucks did. The Canucks entered the 2019-20 season still looking for something, anything that would spark them to a possible Stanley Cup in the near future. Of course, that season was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, but the Canucks would get their chance in the modified playoffs that took place in the late summer and early fall of 2020. What we saw from the Canucks was an amazing run the likes of which we have never seen since they fell one win short of the Stanley Cup in 2011.

Is Serena Deeb Destined to Become Champion?
I have been a fan of Serena Deeb for over a decade now. I still remember her days in Ohio Valley Wrestling, which led her to WWE's main roster, where she served as the lone female member of the Straight Edge Society. Sadly, I also remember her long injury hiatus in 2011, but Serena returned with a vengeance, and she is now killing it in All Elite Wrestling.

Villainess Review: Roxy (Totally Studios)
Since I started watching the Dhar Mann videos, I've also run into what some viewers call, "the copycats." Among them include Vid Chronicles, Life Lessons with Luis, and Supermission, among many others, but also in that group is Totally Studios. I love all of the names I've mentioned and I watch they daily, but Totally Studios is the subject of this review. I have enjoyed Totally Studios' vids; there's a lot of silliness in them that I just love, as well as the life lessons the videos teach. The collection of female baddies is a small one, but I think the best one from Totally Studios appeared in this short: Kids Get Rid of Evil Stepmom.

Reviewing "Grandma Werewolf" and its Pair of Sinister She-Wolves
It amazes me that I happen to enjoy a lot of the lower budget horror films than the ones that hit the big screen and see producers spare no expense. Maybe it's because low-budget films have no expectations. Maybe it's because they're not really trying so hard. In any event, I've really enjoyed a lot of low-budget horror films, and one such film I really liked was 2017's Grandma Werewolf, which took a long time to release.

Batwoman: My Thoughts (So Far) on Mary Hamilton's Heel Turn
So Season Two of Batwoman ended with the tease of the appearance of Batman villainess Poison Ivy, who, IMO, is quite underrated. Batman's collection of villains didn't have many females, but out of the few that were featured, Catwoman often gets the main spotlight, and even Harley Quinn has had bigger elevation than Poison Ivy. The vines started appearing in the final moments of Season Two, and we saw them a few times early in Season Three, and one episode saw them actually tangle Mary Hamilton, the affable doctor and member of the Batwoman team.

Villainess Review: Victoria Ryland (Perception)
Very shortly after I finished binge-watching Scandal, I started binging another show: Perception. I remember that show; it was one of TNT's original series, and starred Eric McCormack (of Will & Grace fame) as Dr. Daniel Pierce, a neuropsychiatrist and a diagnosed schizophrenic who works with the FBI. I watched all three seasons of the show during the summer of 2018, and I really enjoyed it. Perception was a terrific series that had its share of awesome female baddies, but the best one appeared during the series' first season finale.

New Champions Crowned in Raw's Women's Division
The fallout from Survivor Series began with Raw, and it was a crazy one. We saw the follow-up from the Cleopatra Egg theft, Austin Theory received a shot at the WWE Championship, and new champions were crowned inside the red brand's women's division. Let's start with the one I am more happy for: the 24/7 Championship.

NFL Week 11 Recap: Giving Thanks
It's that time of the year again: Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving; always have. Good food, time with family, and some intriguing football. Week 11 was the final week prior to the Thanksgiving holiday, and in this recap of the week that was, I would like to list all of the things I'm thankful for as a football fan.

Villainess Review: Sophie Simon (Abduction Runs in the Family)
The plot for Abduction Runs in the Family (originally titled, A Mother's Terror) was quite an interesting one. The film centered on Alyssa Manning, a successful author who was once abducted as a child by Miles Simon, who had committed the abduction to fill the void left by his daughter, Sophie--in fact, Miles called Alyssa "Sophie." We see Alyssa being interviewed about the abduction, which was the subject of Alyssa's latest book, and it would include the revelation that after 25 years, Miles was getting out of prison.

CFL Week 16 Recap: Let the Games Begin
Well, we did it. We made it through a slightly brief but immensely chaotic Canadian Football League season. 14 games in 16 weeks. This CFL fan really enjoyed this wild and crazy ride, and as fun as the regular season was, the playoffs will be absolutely epic. Now, with all of the spots locked in after Week 15, there wasn't much left to settle regarding the playoffs. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Toronto Argonauts are locked in at first place in their respective divisions. The last playoff spot was taken by the Calgary Stampeders with their win over the BC Lions. All that was left was to determine home field in the Eastern Semifinal between the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Montréal Alouettes.

Villainess Review: Luna Vargas (Scandal)
So after years of voicing my belief that this show is basically forced on viewers, I gave in during the late spring of 2018 and finally decided to binge watch Scandal. I have my reasons. Well, a main reason, which came during the sixth and penultimate season. I went through this show pretty quickly; I started in early May and reached Season Six by the end of the month and entering June, and what a season it was!
