Villainess Review: Valerie Sanders (Mistress Hunter)
In March of 2018, Lifetime delivered with Mistress Hunter, which centered on Jackie Blancher, a married mother to her daughter, Mikayla, and her suspicions that her husband, Karl Blancher, was having an affair. She has the support of her two close friends, Valerie Sanders and Melanie, with Valerie (who served as an "aunt" to Mikayla) advising Jackie to acquire the services of a "Mistress Hunter" and handing Jackie a business card belonging to a woman named Hannah Armington, who sought out unfaithful lovers.

What Happened to the Philadelphia Flyers?
The Philadelphia Flyers lost back-to-back games to the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday and Thursday, with Thursday's 5-3 loss eliminating them from playoff contention. The Flyers' inconsistency has been a huge story this season, as they tend to look good in some games, but play so terribly in others. Though this season has been problematic for the Flyers, their woes actually date back to last year's playoffs.

15 Years: The Penguins' Playoff Streak Continues
Death, taxes, and the Stanley Cup Playoffs in Pittsburgh. Those seem to be the only certainties that exist. The Pittsburgh Penguins' 5-4 overtime victory over the Washington Capitals on Thursday evening officially placed them in the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the 15th straight season. That streak is not only the longest current streak in the NHL, but it is the longest one in sports, with the Penguins earning the distinction after the NBA's San Antonio Spurs missed the playoffs after 22 straight appearances. The last time the Penguins missed the playoffs was the 2005-06 season, which was not only the first season back from the lockout, but it was also Sidney Crosby's rookie year, meaning that his debut season his only one without playoffs.

Villainess Review: Hailey Michaels (Deadly Dating Game)
On Grammy Night 2021, Lifetime gave us Deadly Dating Game (also titled Deadly Radio Romance), which centered on Shannon Baker, the popular host of the radio show, Love on the Air. Shannon had recently ended her relationship with boyfriend Gavin Newman, and she was advised by her close friend and producer Hailey Michaels to put herself back out there, even going as far as to hold a contest to find a potential suitor for Shannon. The contest ended up gaining loads of attention for the show, and was won by Ian, a doctor who ended up going on a number of dates with Shannon, who found herself really bonding with her new suitor.

Villainess Review: Margaret Olson (Blue Bloods)
The Blue Bloods episode, "All That Glitters," began with Margaret and Lance Olson dining in a lavish restaurant before Lance left to light up a cigarette. It was at that moment that Lance was shot by an unknown mugger, much to the horror of Margaret, who was shown being interviewed by detectives Danny Reagan and Jackie Curatola. Margaret spoke fondly of Lance (who was hospitalized after the shooting), adding that he was immensely generous while revealing that she and Lance were tourists visiting from Iowa. The case takes a tragic turn, as Lance died in the hospital, making it a murder case.

A Look at the Criticism Towards the NHL's North Division
I have been a diehard hockey fan since I was seven years old. I love the sport; I love how it operates, I love the chaos and unpredictability I see in every game, I love how literally anything is possible. This NHL season has been unconventional to say the least. The COVID-19 pandemic led to a number of changes all over the sports world, and the NHL was no different; having to pause before starting a modified Stanley Cup Playoffs in August, which resulted in the Stanley Cup being awarded in the end of September. In addition, a 56-game all divisional season started on January 13, 2021, and for this year only, conferences were eliminated, and the league featured four immensely regional divisions--North, Central, East, and West.

Villainess Review: Dani McConnell (Fear of Rain)
Fear of Rain is a thriller centered on the titular Rain Burroughs, a teenage girl struggling with schizophrenia--mainly seeing hallucinations. Other than her parents, the only adult who had knowledge of Rain's struggles was Dani McConnell, who was Rain's neighbor and teacher, and was shown warmly greeting Rain as she returned to school. Suddenly, Rain begins seeing an image of a little girl in Dani's home, leading Rain to believe that the girl had been abducted by Dani--but once Rain and her father, John Burroughs, visit Dani's home, they are taken to the upstairs attic and find nothing to back up Rain's claim.

Villainess Review: Jillian (Deceitful Dating)
This past Friday's LMN movie, Deceitful Dating, centered on the Logans--widowed John and daughters Chelsea and Sophie, all still dealing with the loss of their matriarch, Sarah, just six months prior. As the film showed, their family friend, Jillian, had been a means of support for them ever since, as Sarah was her best friend, though the film later sees John meet next-door neighbor Alice King, and--by happenstance--a relationship starts to blossom.

Divisional Playoff Recap: 15 Wins and What Do You Get?!
The Divisional Playoff has delivered some very interesting and surprising moments since the round was created following the 1970 merger. During the first eight seasons, the Divisional Playoff actually served as the opening round, until the Wild Card Playoff started in 1978. The Divisional Playoff often begins the postseason journey for any and all teams who avoided Wild Card Weekend, while also being a test for those who won the Wild Card games. In addition, Divisional Playoff Weekend serves as the final dose of Saturday football during the NFL season, and also, the round kicks off the set bracket portion of the playoffs, with the two winners in each conference facing off for the right to play in the Super Bowl.

Teed Off
Entering this Saturday matinee game between the Colorado Avalanche and the Dallas Stars, I had all of the confidence in the world that we'd totally dominate Dallas. The reason is simple: when a team is embarrassed in any way, shape, or form, that team bites back big time. In the Avs' case, it was losing to the Edmonton Oilers after leading 3-0. So yeah, we're revved up and pretty angry.

Soooo... That Happened
Game One of the Colorado Avalanche's homestand saw us win in overtime against the New York Rangers in comeback fashion; a clutch with almost 1 1/4 minutes left in regulation, and then, a Devon Toews overtime goal. Next up, a home meeting with the Edmonton Oilers; a battle between superstars Nathan MacKinnon and Connor McDavid. The meetings have been quite interesting ever since that 2022 Western Conference Final; we all know how that ended.
