Villainess Review: Blair Dennison (Deadly Debutante)
Lifetime delivers once again with this film, billed as Deadly Debutante, but credited under the longer title, Deadly Debutantes: A Night to Die For. The film centers around the Debutante Ball, and the two main participants: Anna Phillips and Sophia Martinez. For Anna, becoming a debutante is expected; she comes from a very well-off family, plus her mother, Diana Phillips, won her Debutante Ball. As the film also shows, there is heavy pressure on both Diana and Howard Phillips for Anna to succeed, and it was definitely getting to her.

Knockouts Championship Match Set for Bound for Glory
A lot of Knockouts-related news came out of the most recent edition of Impact Wrestling, with the centerpiece being the announcement of an absolute dream match that will take place at Bound for Glory--which is Impact's version of WrestleMania. At the event, Deonna Purrazzo will defend the Knockouts Championship against Mickie James in a match that has been building up since Slammiversary this past summer.

Villainess Review: Daisy Faulkner (The Secret Lives of College Freshmen)
One night after LMN gave us Secret Life of a Student, we received this amazing film, The Secret Lives of College Freshmen, which centered on Hannah Marks attending college in Oregon--a long way from her California home. She meets up with her best friend, Jodie Mays, who shows Hannah around the campus, with another student, Daisy Faulkner, doing the same. Hannah's elation increases when she finds out that the teacher in her writing class is none other than her idol, Andrew Hampton, who takes a liking to Hannah quickly.

CFL Week 8 Recap: Roughriders Close in on West Lead
The first half of the 2021 CFL season came to a close, and what a first half it has been so far. It started with madness, and ended with chaos, as everything shifted in only a matter of seconds. Week 8 only consisted of three games, but every single one of them was important.

Villainess Review: Nadia Sterling (Secret Life of a Student)
I learned about this film from Reel One's site, where it was listed under its original title, A Lethal Lesson, and once I saw it would air as the retitled, Secret Life of a Student, I was counting down the days until airtime. The film centered on high school teacher Lauren Beeches, who was shown tutoring one of her students, Connor Marrin, before engaging in a phone conversation with her best friend, Chloe Sterling. Little did Lauren know that it would be the last time she would ever speak to Chloe, as just moments later, Chloe was suddenly stabbed to death near her car in an underground parking lot.

NHL 2021-22 Pacific Division Preview
The Pacific Division is fascinating for many reasons, with one of them being that it took the least effort to form in the 2013-14 season. How was it formed? Simple. The remnants of the five team iteration--the California teams (Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Kings, and San Jose Sharks) and the Arizona Coyotes)--were put together with the Northwest Division's Canadian teams (Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, and Vancouver Canucks. That's it. The Vegas Golden Knights became the Pacific's eighth team when they began play in the 2017-18 season, and the Seattle Kraken (the NHL's newest franchise) replaced the outgoing Coyotes in the Pacific, due to the Coyotes moving to the Central Division. It is the only division not to feature a team who switched conferences, and it is the only one to not have an Original Six franchise.

NHL 2021-22 Central Division Preview
When news of the NHL realigning their divisions broke eight years ago, I was wondering how they would look. Not surprisingly, I was immensely happy with the look of the four divisions, but the one I couldn't help but gush over the most was the Central Division. I literally salivated over this; it looked like it was going to be a very, very fun division to watch.

NHL 2021-22 Metropolitan Division Preview
The NHL has used geographical names for their conferences and divisions since the 1993-94 season. For five seasons, the Western Conference (formerly the Campbell Conference) had the Pacific and Central Divisions, while the Eastern Conference (formerly the Wales Conference) had the Atlantic and Northeast Divisions. When the divisions were realigned in the 1998-99 season, two more were created: the Northwest and Southeast Divisions. The league went back to four divisions in 2013-14, and among the division names was one that stood out the most: Metropolitan. That's not exactly geographical, but it fits the division because of the cities represented. So for the last eight years, we've had the Metropolitan Division (nicknamed "Metro" for short), and it's a pretty fun division to watch.

NHL 2021-22 Atlantic Division Preview
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, hockey fans of all ages: the NHL that we know is back. 82 games, an October-April stretch, an All-Star break, and yes, normal divisions. The localized divisions from the abbreviated 2020-21 campaign were fun to watch, but I am happy that the normal divisions and conferences are back, because each of the four divisions have a historical connection. Each of these divisions were formed in the 2013-14 season, with the NHL realigning the divisions for the first time since the 1998-99 season--the year that kicked off the NHL's six-division format.

NFL Week 2 Recap: 4th and 1
The 2nd week of the 2021 NFL season was every bit as thrilling and nail-biting as the first, and the centerpiece of Week 2 was the main event Sunday Night Football clash between the Baltimore Ravens and the Kansas City Chiefs. Despite playing their home opener, the Ravens were not favored in a game they needed in order to bounce back from their disappointing overtime loss in Vegas. It looked even worse for Ravens late in the game, as they were down 11, but they bounced back with a pair of touchdowns. Even so, the Chiefs had a chance to get into field goal range, but Clyde Edwards-Helaire's fumble changed things.

MLB Pennant Race 2021: Three Teams Clinch Spots, While One Continues to Sink
We are just two weeks away from the end of the 2021 MLB season. Two short weeks! It seems like yesterday that the full 162-game season began, but what is usually a marathon has went by like a sprint, and we are in the depths of the home stretch. Time is running out for a lot of teams looking to get into the postseason, and speaking of time, let's not waste any more of it and get to the main storylines.

CFL Week 7 Recap: Watch Out for the Bombers
It seems like yesterday that this mayhem-filled ride known as the 2021 CFL season began. In actuality, the season is nearing the halfway point, with just one weekend left in the month of September. Canadian Thanksgiving weekend is three weeks away, and that's the time where playoff talk intensifies, just like American Thanksgiving in the NFL. Week 7 was quite intriguing; here's what took place.
