NFL Week 5 Recap: A Disgraceful Exit and So Many Missed Kicks
So let's talk about the huge elephant that's no longer in the Raiders' room: Jon Gruden. So prior to the Las Vegas Raiders' home game against the Chicago Bears (which the Raiders lost 20-9), it was revealed that in 2011, Gruden sent an email to Bruce Allen, then the president of the now-named Washington Football Team, lambasting Players Association head DeMaurice Smith, where he referred to him as "Dumborriss Smith," and said that he had "lips the size of Michelin tires." Clearly a very racist comment towards Smith, and it saw Gruden give something barely resembling an apology when he was asked about it after the Raiders' loss.

Villainess Review: Valerie Cooley (The Equalizer)
I had never seen the original Equalizer series, but I had heard about it for a while. I did, however, watch both Equalizer films starring Denzel Washington, so I wasn't too unaware when I heard news about a reboot series. I was definitely in; even more so when I learned that Queen Latifah would be playing the titular role: Robyn McCall. The series premiered after CBS' coverage of Super Bowl LV on February 7, 2021, and it would be two weeks later that we would be treated with the appearance of the series' first villainess. First, the setting.

Reviewing the Opening of the Queen's Crown Tournament
The season premiere of SmackDown featured, among other things, the beginning of WWE's first-ever Queen's Crown Tournament. Rumors and stories about WWE doing a Queen of the Ring Tournament had been swirling for about a year, and after many requests from women's wrestling fans such as myself, it finally came to pass. However, what should have been a great start to a monumental first for WWE's women's division was, well, anything but that.

"Everyone Deserves a Second Chance" Doesn't Seem to Apply to Everyone
Everyone deserves a second chance. That's the statement we often say when it comes to making up for past mistakes, no matter how big or small they are. I have always believed that everyone deserves a second chance, literally everyone. The problem is that some members of society are quite selective when it comes to that, and even worse, such selection is shown to be racially motivated.

Murder-For-Hire Villainess Receives Six Years in Prison for Plot Against Ex-Husband
I said this before; it amazes me that there are people in society who are willing to pay to have someone else killed. Heck, any form of homicide is hideous enough as it is, but actually paying money to have it done?! And it's never chump change, either; it's always a vast amount. That, IMHO, shows the depravity of some people, and as I also stated before, out of the number of murder-for-hire cases I've heard about in my many years as a true crime enthusiast, the culprit behind such schemes has been a woman more often than not. That, alone, is also fascinating.

AEW Unveils the TBS Championship
Hard to believe that it has been two years since AEW Dynamite premiered on TNT! After debuting via pay-per-views, All Elite Wrestling debuted its flagship show, Dynamite, on October 2, 2019, and (with the exception of preemptions caused by TNT's NBA playoff coverage) it has aired every Wednesday since then. However, on the latest edition of Dynamite, Tony Schiavone announced that Dynamite would be moving to TBS beginning on the first Wednesday of 2022. The move to TBS is due to TNT's NHL coverage, as this season will kick off Turner Sports' current contract with the NHL.

The MLB Wild Card Games have come and gone, and after the dust was settled, the New York Yankees and the St. Louis Cardinals each saw their season come to an end. Villainess Review: Jordan Smith (Waking Up to Danger)
On the same weekend that gave us Malicious Motives and You're Not Safe Here, Lifetime delivered once again with this film, Waking Up to Danger, which kicked off the month of August. The film's central protagonist was Arianna Moore, though the opening minute clearly establishes that someone is out to get Arianna, as we get the ominous scene of a hooded and gloved figure cutting out Arianna from various photos of the Moore family, which also consist of husband Rick and young daughter Isabella. That same figure appears later on and tampers with Arianna's brakes, and shortly afterwards, Arianna gets behind the wheel and crashes her car.

NFL Week 4 Recap: New York, New York, Brady Returns Home. Top Story - October 2021.
It has been said that one can never go home again. Those who said that clearly weren't interested or well-versed in the story regarding one Thomas Edward Patrick Brady, Jr. I still remember when I heard the news that Tom Brady was leaving Foxboro, leaving the Patriots. I had heard that rumor for several months and never believed it; I figured he'd retire as a Patriot. In fact, my exact words were, "I'll believe it when I see it." Actually, I said, "Even if I see it, I still won't believe it." And those words were true, even a year later.

MLB Postseason 2021: The Picture is Complete
The final day of the MLB season, aka Game 162, had the potential to be very chaotic and result in some things being unsolved. There was still the National League West up for grabs, but it was the American League Wild Card that had the biggest logjam. And with all of the games going on at once, per the recent tradition, it all made for a fantastic day in baseball.
