Pros and Cons: Trish Stratus' Constant Post-Retirement Appearances
It's been a minute since I've done a "Pros and Cons" story regarding the world of wrestling, and with the Elimination Chamber event looming, this is a perfect time to discuss something that's been on my mind: WWE's constant need to involve Trish Stratus in things, especially if said things are in Toronto. Now let's make one thing clear. Trish is a legend and icon in women's wrestling; a woman who started out as a fitness model before making her debut as a villainous manager. Had very little (if any) in-ring experience, yet evolved and became one of the most known names in WWE's Women's Division. Seven-time Women's Champion. That's a big deal.

A Look at the "Seely Six"
Fans, enthusiasts, and experts of everything Looney Tunes know that during the classic era, the cartoons had three main composers: Carl Stalling, Milt Franklyn, and Bill Lava. However, there is a fourth composer that definitely needs to be talked about. Very few Looney Tunes shorts used his music, but they stood out for a number of reasons. This latest Looney Tunes story centers on the fourth composer in their history: John Seely.

A Team Canada Reunion
The Colorado Avalanche had one more road game to play through, and similar to the day prior to this one, it was a divisional contest. On Saturday, the NHL's first day back after Four Nations, the Avs lost a heartbreaker in Nashville. For this go-around, the Avs were in St. Louis facing the Blues, who was also struggling, but not at Nashville's level. The Blues are doing better than many figured, but that's really because of the Predators' shockingly poor performance this season.

Back to Business
Am I the only one who saw the Four Nations Face Off as an epic two-week long dream? In place and stead of the NHL All-Star Game this year, we were treated to an amazing best-on-best tournament featuring the NHL's best from Canada, Finland, Sweden, and the United States. The countries faced each other in round robin games, with the standings being different than what we see in the NHL. Regulation wins were three points, overtime/shootout wins were two points, overtime/shootout losses were a single point, and of course, no points for regulation losses.

"Person to Bunny": How a Looney Tunes Short Plays a Role in Today's Society
So while I was watching Looney Tunes on MeTV Toons (I love that channel so much), a certain short popped up on the two-hour block. Today's generation knows the one I'm talking about: Person to Bunny. Before I talk about the trivial facts, which include a certain part of the short, let's dive in to this.

Obsession (Part 2)
It's been a whirlwind last few weeks for Valerie Price, an office worker by day, wrestler by night. Valerie had been feuding with the mysterious Countess for months, and in a big match against her rival, she caught the Countess by surprise, in more ways than one. Valerie's inside cradle not only defeated the Countess, she unmasked her foe, revealing her as Valerie's boss, Penelope Warner. Usually, when a mask is removed in wrestling, the saga ends. But as Valerie would learn, the unmasking was just beginning.

Obsession (Part 1)
Action Women's Wrestling, a promotion that has been in existence for 23 years, has seen many stars enter and shine in the time they've existed. One such star, who has been competing in AWW for six years, is Valerie Price, and she's been serving as one of AWW's most popular stars. Recently, Valerie has had quite a few interesting feuds in her time in AWW, but this one seems to take the cake. In the last three months, Valerie has been pursued by the Countess, a villainess in a black bodysuit and a full mask, who appears to know Valerie very well.

True North Strong (NHL Western Conference Playoff Picture)
As the Four Nations Champion is about to be crowned, the time for the regular season to resume is getting closer and closer. We are now entering my favorite part of the season: the part where we see early Sunday games on national TV. In fact, the first Sunday to feature such games will be this upcoming one, February 23. I love seeing early Sunday games on national TV; it's a huge sign that the season has reached the home stretch, and the playoff push has arrived.

One Saw It All
It had been an agonizing two months for Alexa Parker-Quarles, as she was still dealing with the sudden disappearance of her wife of 10 years, Shannon Parker-Quarles, and it became worse when her body was found. It was a clear case of homicide, and clues and answers were coming few and far in-between. Alexa was waiting things out, taking things one day at a time, but it was definitely not easy for her. All that time passing with no definitive answers? It was taking quite a toll on Alexa, but she tried her best to mask it.

Villainess Blown Opportunity: What Happened to Aunt Kandace?!
On February 13, 2025, Cobra Kai--the long overdue follow-up series to the Karate Kid films--ended its run after six seasons in seven years on YouTube and Netflix. The series remains a big hit and an immense favorite by many fans (myself included) and the end stretch saw quite a few things resolved. There was some heartbreak, there were some tender moments, and there was a magnificent finish to a very long redemption arc. In all, everything was tied up in a neat little package.

Love in the Time of Wrestling
Combat Women's Wrestling had been in business for 14 years, and one of the promotion's big stars was Lena Pierce, nicknamed "The Iron Maiden" for her strong resolve. She had been wrestling for five years and boasted an impressive record in the ring, and had appeared to have seen it all in her time in the ring, until about a month ago.

Reviewing the Conclusion of "Cobra Kai"
We have a lot to talk about, and I just have this to say: prepare for spoilers and get your tissues ready. I wrote about this amazing show before, over a year and a half ago. I still remember when I first saw this. Thankfully, I had seen the movies before this, but it was September 2023, close to Labor Day, and I was under the weather. I was wondering if I had COVID (for the second time) or not, and at that time, I was very overweight. Fast forward 17 months and subtract 30 pounds, and we have reached the final five episodes of the entire series.
