iridescent bird clothed in rich hues of princes fails to woo a mate.
my mother once said they are the only features lovely about me.
canvas of the stars twilight falls so they may shine glory's conduit.
hold to your secrets midnight-hued ocean depths, sing of a bone graveyard. .
wine-dark seas of old in modernity become skies, blue with freedom.
black's not the color of death; light blue ivory; I kiss your numb lips.
sapphire emptiness, oblivion full of hope, swallow and save me.
translucent, opaque. indecisively churning, teal mocking mirror.
frenetic dancing, seduce me again to touch- true heart of the flame
blur into the sky, cerulean waters, you cradle me to death.
I sang them to you. let them in my bed at night, like I once let you
