Carolina blue; My father taught me to love Wearing his color.
unimpressed gazes, light steel eyes leveled, ripping naked my self-worth.
cornflower midnights wrapped around me, a blanket in which I smother.
a great, loud rushing out of the clear blue sky came without your mercy.
your jeans on my floor, the music you swayed me to, my heart now you’re gone.
icy siren song, aquamarine promises, lullaby of death.
plaster red over blue; frosty lips, now shielded from transparency.
