There's a guy called Ben on Youtube who does some predictions for the future. In 2021, he made a prediction that the Queen will die. She passed away on his birthday. A lot of his predictions have scaringly come true like Harry Style's acting career. Some of the predictions he has made for this year terrifying; Elon Musk having a breakdown; India will go in a trade war; Trump will beat Biden in the elections; and ChatGPT will be shut down as they will deem it too powerful.

The Things I Said I Wouldn't Spend Money on This Year
My friend made a mood board for her goals for the future. She kept it secret for a while, but seeing it today reminded me of the promises I made to myself this year. Inspired by a wave of frugality and eco-friendly Youtube channels, I set myself a goal of only spending £10 a week on grocery bills a week.

All the Books I Read in December 2023
It’s been an incredible year for me. I have read around 90 books this year according to GoodReads and if you include those little books that I have that don’t include a ISBN number, Inwould say it’s just about 100 books. Being lost in another world distracts me from the stress from the real world. Escapism is nice. I’m also doing my best to finish the books I have before buying anymore, but that rarely happens. I always end up buying at least three books a month.

All The Books I Read in November 2023
I read a mixture of books last month and it has taken me some time to get my thoughts together on some of them because they left a big impact on me. I always feel like I don't read enough because I have been focusing on going to the gym and doing more classes, but the books I did read, did leave a lasting impression on me.

An Easy Case (extended)
When Samson studied law, he looked into the mirror and saw a hero. Graduation day gave him his superpowers. He thought everyday day would be like his favourite cartoon shows; every day a bad guy would get beaten and everyone would work as a team to bring down the criminal organisations. It didn’t take him long to realise that his life as a lawyer was anything but a whacky kids show. The hours were long. The pay was good but the balance between family life and work life always tipped in work’s favour.

An Easy Case
The greatest question that was burning in Samson’s head was who did it? Dame Peggy Foursome was a national treasure. The Queen of knitting made Samson’s childhood awesome. Thursday nights were cozy with all the wonderful creatures and stories she made with just wool. He still had her collection of books in his attic. They must be worth thousand now.

Watching Physical:100 on Netflix
One of the thing I have really liked in Devil’s Plan and Physical:100 is how respectful and humble all the contestants are. This is really prevalent on Physical. When they win, they are so excited and when they lose they admit defeat gracefully and many say that they should have worked harder. 100 of the strongest people in Korea compete in quests and fights to keep their bust in tact. I’ve seen people call this a real-life Squid Game. In some ways they are right. It’s got the test of physical strength, the plot twists and ominous music. The lighting and stages are very dark like they are in a horror movie or an execution room.

I Watched Devil’s Plan on Netflix
Nine of the smartest people in Korea play games of intelligence and wit in order to gain and maintain gold pieces. If ever a contestant loses all their pieces, they are eliminated from the show and made to pack their bags. The contestants really start to grow close to each other and become a family despite many betrayals and mistakes along the way. So this is why when a player gets wiped out they get so distraught to the point one of them even says he has forgotten what the outside world was like.

A Polar bear in Birmingham
I’ve been here, there and everywhere. Even though I feel like I’ve been inactive lately, I’ve been having that urge to write some poetry and get really creative. I had a few moments when I have been really up and then really down and on a few occasions I had been so tired that I forgot to eat my dinner. I was looking into intermediate fasting, but my head got so conflicted. My head was telling me to fast. My body was telling me to eat. My heart was telling me to have a hot chocolate and bath, then go to bed. I ended up doing all of them in the end.

I Watched Squid Game: The Challenge
It didn’t surprise me that Netflix made their own reality TV show based on Squid Game. Some people have already made their own version like MrBeast from YouTube. I have yet to see MrBeast’s version on YouTube, but I would like to and see how it compares to the Netflix reality show and the original.
