All of Your House Plants Are Going to Die... (Eventually)
When I bought my first house plant (White Queen Marble pothos) I considered her a lifetime investment. At the time she only had six leaves and cost me no more than two coffees. Fast track to two years later and she has grown so much that I have to cut her back constantly. And me being the crazy houseplant lady that I am propagated every single one of her viable leaves. Now she dominates a pot in almost every room in my house (with good lighting), plus I have given away countless cuttings to loved ones. Talk about getting your money's worth!

How I Know I Can Be a Mother. Top Story - February 2022.
I have always struggled with the idea of being a mother. The idea of being responsible for the life of another being. Making sure they’re fed. Bathed. Clothed. Getting enough sleep. Entertained. Happy. I feel like I’m barely capable of managing those basic needs for myself.

Book Review: A Court of Silver Flames (ACOSF) by Sarah J Maas
'A Court of Silver Flames' (ACOSF) by Sarah J. Maas does not follow Feyre Archeron, who was our leading lady for the past few books. Instead ACOSF follows Feyre's older sister, Nesta Archeron, and Illyrian warrior and brother of Rhysand, Cassian. Both Nesta and Cassian go on a journey of self-healing and make the transition from enemies to lovers. Now that is not a spoiler, we all saw it coming. And oh wow do they become lovers - this book is spicier than all of the others.

Book Review: Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty
Christmas 2018, I was gifted this book, twice. Practically everyone I knew was gifted it for Christmas. Liane Moriarty was beloved for Big Little Lies and her other seven books, so this was a much anticipated release. However, in true book worm fashion, this book remained on my TBR (to be read) pile for years.

The Misunderstood Predator
The smell of flakey pastries and deep fried, crumb coated food overwhelmed Lucie's senses. The scent drenched her clothing. Seeped into her skin and threatened to resurface as puss. Lucie hated it. Working here. Always feeling oily. Taking orders from angry, hungry people. Not even a hot shower could completely wipe away the grime and displeasure after a shift. She should have quit after her second day of being here, and she almost did. But she had caved. Living in a small town, she couldn't bear to think what people would say about her if she left her second job within two weeks.

Book Review: House of Earth and Blood (Crescent City series) by Sarah J Maas
This book is set in a world where humans live among fae, angels, demons, werewolves, vampires, mermaids: basically any supernatural being you could hope for. IT IS EPIC!! The supernatural beings rule all, while humans are considered second class citizens and struggle to survive.
