In college, I was that girl who hung out with boys more than girls. Yes, I was even in a sorority and still hung out with my guy friends in the fraternity more than my own sorority sisters. I loved to drink, have fun, party and just sit and hang out. All of my friends, my girlfriends, would tell me that one day the boys will let me down. I never really took it to heart, but looking back at it now, I wish I had. I wouldn’t say I lost my friends because of it, but I am not as close to people I could have been if I had given them more of a chance.

Love is love. There is no denying attraction, infatuation or chemistry with someone, but how much resilience and heartache does it take to refuse to accept such feelings when it goes against societies norms, or our own internal battles of knowing who we are, or what we really want?

Who am I? Lets find out.
I was sitting at the airport, a bloody mary in one hand and my hat in the other. I set them down, and opened pinterest to scroll through aimlessly as I wait for my flight. As I do, these self discovery journal prompts came up and the title of the image says, "WHO AM I?" The questions proceeded to ask me what are 10 things I like about myself, what do I want to change about myself, etc. Corny right? Well, call me corny then, because I was suddenly going down a rabbit hole.
