The Old Haunted Cabin
The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window. The cabin was thousands of years old, and it was well known that spooky events always took place there. Every night, there would be a deep mist appeared around the cabin and screams of terror would fill the air. There would be tapping on the windows, and loud banging on the walls that would cause the cabin to shake.

Do You Remember Me?
I walked into the shop with my husband. You served us and you looked familiar to me. You asked me many questions, and you gave me that 'I know you from somewhere' look. I recognized you, though I didn't want to say who I was or ask who you were.

I Thought We Were Just Friends
It was the 90's. I had no idea what love really was. I was insecure, unstable and unhappy. I Keep My Circle Of Friends Small For A Very Good Reason.
I have friends, though I don't have a very big circle of those I class as friends. Not everyone you meet is going to be a 'true friend,' and just because I don't class everyone I meet as a friend, doesn't necessarily mean those people are bad people. In fact, I see plenty of people who I know fairly well daily when I am out and about who are friendly and make conversation with me when we see each other.

Daydream. Top Story - May 2022.
I sit here on this slab, complete with pen and notebook. My surroundings are full of lush greenery and a waterfall rushes by. The birds make sweet melodies out of their cute little tweets, while the animals in the fields communicate and sing to each other. The sky is a mesmerizing blue, and the sun is so bright, diamonds dance off this grey dull slab. I have been sat here, mesmerized by this beautiful imagery for hours, and yet I still have a blank page. The beautiful scenery is distracting, and it has completely blanked my mind.

I have written several stories on Vocal that form part of a series. I left them for a while, until today when I decided to print them out in order to help me to write the next chapter.
