Looking for genuine friendships
While growing up over the years I've noticed that human relationships have changed considerably over the years. I have seen the best of friendships and I have seen a ton of superficial relationships. The trend lately seems to follow the later but that's not to say that there aren't genuine relationships today.

Post your content online please!
I am like millions of you out there. I've hesitated at posting things for the longest time. There are a multitude of reasons why you shouldn't post your content online. To each their own but your art should be observed by the world. You really shouldn't hold yourself back with pessimistic thoughts or worry about the reasons why you're posting in the first place. Trust me I've been there and here are some of the reasons why I didn't post my stuff.

My Review of "Gone With The Wind"
Gone With The Wind has been suggested to me by an old friend for the longest time. I looked at the runtime of the movie and it scared me from watching it for the longest time. It's a whopping four hours long! He asked me to trust him in his suggestion. After years of hesitation I finally caved. I have to say that I thought it was pretty dumb at first, however at some point in the movie, I got sucked in.

My Review of "Giant Little Ones"
Giant Little Ones has been on the suggestion list on Crave for quite some time. It didn't really appeal to me because I had never heard of it. Fortunately, it is a Canadian film and it had made a big buzz at the Toronto Film Festival. I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into but I was trusting the critics on this one.

My Review of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Season 7
Brooklyn Nine-Nine has been a consistently funny series. I found that they really elevated their level of stories in the last few seasons. There has been a sense of change with each proceeding season. Season 7 still has a lot of the bite that the previous seasons had but I found that they lacked a little compared to the tremendous last few seasons. Still as a standalone season it wasn't too bad so long as you know all the backstory behind each character.

My Review of "Schooled: Season 2"
Schooled had a bit of a stumble at the very beginning. It didn't know what it wanted to be at first. I'm glad they figured out what they wanted to do with the series by the midpoint of season one. This season seems to run with that direction and further explores the possibilities for the show.

My Review of "The Goldbergs: Season 7"
The Goldbergs: Season 7 means that we've gone through 7 years in the life of The Goldbergs family. There have been a few changes that have happened throughout the years that might put in a few restrictions for the direction of this series. I'm actually really surprised that they've been consistent with the level of writing throughout the series. I would have though that they would have run out of material by now but they continue to innovate and find new 80's references to throw at the show.

My Review of "The Lovebirds"
The Lovebirds is Netflix's latest comedy to be released during the pandemic. They have had some enjoyable ones such as Coffee and Kareem, Extraction and The Wrong Missy. These movies aren't must see movies but they are good diversions if you need to waste a few hours. Sadly I don't know if I can say the same for this movie. The couple dynamics in this movie sort of fell a little flat for me.

My Review of "Seven Years in Tibet"
Seven Years in Tibet is one of the last movies I wanted to check out when it first came out. It came at a time when I was still a teenager so I didn't really have the mental maturity to go through the viewing. It didn't help that I thought it was a white savior movie from the trailer. Fast forward to 2020 and I'm willing to give these movies a try. I was pleasantly surprised with A River Runs Through It, so why not check this one out too.

My Review of "Slaughterhouse Rulez"
Slaughterhouse Rulez blends a lot of familiar movies but I'm not sure if it melded quite as well as they were expecting. Still this is an enjoyable film to kill some time if you're looking for something to watch. In theory it should have worked really well but some of the scenes fell flat. Maybe it's because I've seen the scenes done better in other movies.

My Review of "Captain Courageous (1996)"
Captain Courageous is a movie that I have never heard of. Netflix has had a good batting average with me so I thought I'd check it out. What I experienced from this movie was nothing more than a cookie cutter low budget movie. There's elements of entertainment but for the most part it wasn't that great a ride.

My Review of "The Last Dance"
The Last Dance is a really fascinating documentary of the Chicago Bulls during the 1990s. As many of us have lived through the era, it's a beautiful walk down memory lane. It's tough to believe that it's been 22 years since the Bulls had won their last championship. Now a new era of basketball fans will understand the hype of this Chicago Bulls team.
