My Review of "Tomb Raider"
Tomb Raider came out as a bit a surprise for me. I remember back in the day there were two Tomb Raider movies that starred Angelina Jolie. This is the remake starring Alicia Vikander. The mood and the atmosphere of the movie has changed dramatically since the old movies. I've never really played the Tomb Raider video games but I remember that this movie came out right around the time when they were revamping the Tomb Raider video game series as well.

My Review of "Ip Man 4: The Finale"
Ip Man 4: The Finale is the final installment to the popular Ip Man series. I didn't have too many kind words for the Ip Man 3. I felt that it was a cash grab but had some pretty good action sequences. That's really what you're looking for in action movies anyways so I couldn't fault it for that. Ip Man 4 kind of goes back to the story element of the Ip Man series.

Travel through time with dance
Before you think I'm crazy with the title, you have to hear me out. It's kind of a concept that I picked up from a conversation. When we dance we don't really think much of anything but get caught up in the moment. Sure we could be following some choreography or have a thought of what we're going to be doing but for the most part we are stuck in the dance. It's a state of mind that we're not fully aware of until you reflect on it.

My Review of "Ip Man 3"
Ip Man 3 is a movie that came out back in 2015. It's weird that I haven't seen it until 2020 because I remember loving the previous movies. I did however feel that it was a cash grab because the trailers featured Mike Tyson as Ip Man's main foe. So I didn't bother with this movie however I did see some clips of the fight scenes on YouTube and it did look pretty cool. Now that Ip Man 4 has come out I decided I might as well check it out so that I can watch the latest version afterwards.

My Review of "Hi Score Girl: Season One"
Hi Score Girl is very much like an Archie comic from what I remember back in the day. It even has all of the old comic book characters renamed but very reminiscent of the comic. I haven't seen an anime TV series in a long time and this kind of reminded me why I don't generally watch them that often. It's not my type of thing to watch but it was somewhat entertaining because I do love the 90s references that they talk about.

My Review of "Blinded by the Light"
Blinded by the Light looks like a corny feel good movie and it's not too far from it. You know what you're going to get with this movie but that's not a totally bad thing either though. It's surprisingly based off a true story where the lyrics of Bruce Springsteen's songs are actually pretty important throughout the movie. I'm not totally familiar with Bruce's music but this movie actually made me interested in listening to some of his stuff.

My Review of "The Remix: Hip Hop X Fashion"
The Remix: Hip Hop X Fashion is a documentary that I think a lot of people should really check out because they talk about some important artists that no one knows about. The film basically focuses on the work of Misa Hylton, April Walker, Dapper Dan, and Kerby Jean-Raymond. These are pretty important figures in the fashion industry but in different ways.

My Review of "Driven"
Driven is a movie that came out quietly back in 2018 based on the true events of what happened to world renowned car designer John DeLorean. We all know the famous DeLorean car from the Back to the Future movies but I didn't know about the scandals and dark past of the car and its creator. This movie was pretty eye opening and quite interesting.

My Review of "Last Christmas"
Last Christmas is an interesting movie that came out last year in 2019. It is a lot of movie that I didn't expect. Initially I thought this was a romantic comedy but it really isn't. It's more about this woman trying to figure herself out. There's a large George Michael soundtrack behind this story and it so happens to occur during the Christmas holiday season as well.

My Review of "Mucho Mucho Amor: The Legend of Walter Mercado"
Mucho Mucho Amor: The Legend of Walter Mercado is a documentary that recently came out exclusive to Netflix. Prior to this documentary I wasn't familiar at all with Walter Mercado but now I see the huge impact he had on the world. Apparently I'm one of the minority that don't know who he is because in this documentary it goes on to explain how much of an influence he has had on the world.

My Review of "Status Update"
Status Update came out back in 2018 but I'm sure many of you have never heard of it because it was a bit of an oddity when I saw it available on Netflix. I was just perusing through their catalog and it popped up by accident. Since it seemed a little out of the ordinary I thought I'd give it a try even though I knew it was going to be a pretty cookie cutter film.

My Review of "K-Pax"
K-Pax is a movie that came out way back in 2001. I remembered the trailers for this movie and wasn't interested in it at all. Of course, I was really young back then and this type of movie didn't interest me. It was an exploration of character and philosophy and I was into action movies at the time. Now in 2020 I have the patience and maturity to watch such a movie and it wasn't bad.
