My Review of "The Sleepover"
The Sleepover is a Netflix exclusive that recently came out. It's a lot more fun than you would have expected. Sure there are a lot of cheesiness and a ton of it is predictable but you have to consider what the target audience for this movie is. It's a family film that is sure to entertain kids and adults alike and I for one was entertained by this movie.

My Review of "Project Power"
Project Power is a super power movie came out recently exclusively to Netflix. I can't really classify this movie as a superhero movie because all of the powers that each of the characters contain are dependent on a pill that they take. Still there's elements of a superhero movie in this movie but they did put a twist to it that is unique. The only problem is that the movie doesn't really have anything absolutely spectacular about it.

My Review of "Spies in Disguise"
Spies in Disguise is a movie that wasn't really talked about last year when it came out. I keep forgetting how good we have it with animated movies nowadays. We get spoiled at the fact that these family flicks are always pretty well crafted although always follow a generic formula. Still these are family films catered to children so they don't even have the concept of formula. They're not supposed to break the mold.

My Review of "Killer Bean Forever"
Killer Bean Forever is a movie that was suggested to me by a friend of mine. She's been going on about it forever and I always kind of brushed it off without thinking too much about it. I finally decided to take the dive not knowing what I was getting myself into because it's a free YouTube movie to watch.

My Review of "Saturday Night Fever"
Saturday Night Fever is an iconic movie that came out back in 1977. This movie is over 40 years old yet some of the themes still hold true today. Obviously a lot of people will be offended with a lot of this movie. The worse of the worse things happen in this movie including blatant racism, rape and homophobia to name a few. You have to realize that this was a reality of the times back in 1977. Still the emphasis isn't on the horrors that happened back in the 70s. This movie is more about our relationships with one another. Many of those themes are still relevant today.

My Review of "Freaks: You're One of Us"
Freaks: You're One of Us is a small budget German movie that had come out this year. They put some nice twists to this movie but it's nothing I haven't seen before. I do appreciate the time and effort that they put into this movie. You can really tell that the makers of the movie really wanted to make something special.

My Review of "Richard Jewell"
Richard Jewell is a movie that doesn't look that interesting on paper. The thing is if you start watching it, you can't turn away. So many terrible unavoidable happen in this movie but you understand why they happen. In fact, the main character drove me nuts in this movie but I was still able to sympathize with him.

My Review of "NBA 2k20"
NBA 2k20 was a highly anticipated game because I loved NBA 2k19. Admittedly I only really played the career mode of the game. I'm also basing this whole review off of the career mode of 2k20 as well. I have played quick games and generally they're very similar and I didn't find too many differences but then again I'm a casual gamer. As a casual gamer 2k19 made more sense than 2k20.

My Review of "Captain Fantastic"
Captain Fantastic came out back in 2016 and I never really wanted to watch it because I knew people that were very anti-establishment and sometimes they drove me nuts. There's an air of truth to what they preach but I was instantly reminded of their stubborn points of views. Knowing this, I didn't think it would be that interesting of a movie. I was horribly wrong. This movie is pretty amazing and I'll get to why it was.

My Review of "Blood Quantum"
Blood Quantum is a Canadian movie that came out back in 2019. It's a shame that it didn't get too much press because this movie has a lot to say. Much of the nuances of the different messages can only be understood when you realize that the movie comes from an indigenous perspective. The circumstances of the pandemic is also a disguised discussion of colonization of indigenous people and their land.

My Review of "The Babysitter: Killer Queen"
The Babysitter: Killer Queen is a sequel that I didn't think they'd come out with. The watched the first Babysitter movie back in 2017 when it first came out. I have to admit that I liked that movie because of the wacky comedy. There were few horror elements and felt a little angst-y. Being a teen movie I understood where they were going with that movie. This sequel is that movie dialed to 11. They were even wackier this time to the point of parody.

My Review of "#Saraitda aka #Alive"
#Saraitda aka #Alive is a movie that came out of nowhere on Netflix. It's kind of perfect timing for such a movie to come out too. It's basically a zombie horror movie that's implements elements of modern realities. In a way it's kind of confusing as to categorize this movie. It's got elements of comedy, drama, romance and horror. There's something for everyone in this movie but not focusing on something specifically to say that it is catered toward a certain demographic.
