Hi mum. . Top Story - September 2023.
The rain begins to fall lightly against the pavement, as delicately as piano keys are played. Dancing upon the concrete as they hit the ground. Not before long, a crash of thunder bellows through the sky, followed by a flash of lightening that fills the surroundings with the palest blue light. The rain begins to pour heavier and heavier, causing shockwaves of sound through the city streets.

I'm a gambling addict.. Content Warning.
Hey. My name is Billie, I'm freshly 30 and I'm a gambling addict. I don't know how to start this piece entirely, and I have no doubt with how uncomfortable I feel about my confession, this piece will not flow but we're going with it for the sake of awareness and relatability.

5 reasons I'm going back to education post-pandemic.. Top Story - May 2023.
You're never too old to start again. It's true, and no matter how much you want to deny it, what you're more than likely doing is denying it or lacking in the confidence to make that decision comfortably, and that's okay.

Save your rice water.
Today, we're talking rice water. Yep, I'm talking the starchy goodness that comes from boiling or soaking white rice. There are an abundance of benefits to using rice water in your beauty regime, a method commonly seen in the very same skincare routines that we see coming out of Asia; particuarly India, Japan and Korea.

My dear old bitter friend.
I awaken from slumber, groggy and tired, as is life with a 6 month old. No sleep has ever been the same since we had Cian, but It's made easier by my dear old bitter friend. I throw on an oversized t-shirt and lean over the crib, to be warmed and welcomed with open arms and an ear from ear smile. He screams in a pitch only dogs can hear, excited to see his mummy again. I lean forward, whisper good morning gorgeous boy as I do every morning and take him gently in my arms. He's always so warm and cosy.

We need to talk about Yehezkal.. Top Story - April 2023.
Is classical music cool yet? I've been waiting so patiently for the last 5 years for classical music to make a return, outside of the stereotype that it belongs only to the ears of the upper class but can we talk about the work of Yehezkal Raz yet?
