Bhargav M (2003) is an Indian writer. His parents are Sreelakshmi and Mahesh Kumar. His elder brother is Kanhaiya M. Bhargav and his brother are suffering from Duchene Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) disease.

My Mother's Motivation
The word mother cannot be defined in words. It can only be defined in terms of love and affection. My mother is behind my every success. I and my brother both are suffering from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy that causes progressive weakness and loss of muscle mass. So we cannot perform any task independently. So, I always need someone to support me. She is my mother. Many people abandon their children because of their disability. But my mother had no such thoughts. She is taking care of me and my brother even today. I and my brother both are disabled. She motivates us every day with the statement, “Physical disability is no bar to success”. I was five years old when I was diagnosed with the disease. But, till today my mother has never demotivated me. Many people were saying that taking care of such children is of waste. But my mother never took such words to her mind. She always motivates me saying, “Never take the words of society to your mind, just ignore their words. There might be hundreds of people who try to discourage you, but you should never lose your willpower”.
