SUFFRAGIST
Reflecting on my college history class from a long time ago, the history professor stated that history was written by elitist males. At that time, my thoughts were, "Not surprised!" His remarks were made in March of 1995. Recalling the history class, something else comes to mind. It was in regards to a female professor traveling to the university campus and giving a special lecture on Women's History Month.

ROCK & ROLL MUSINGS
Beginning my Rock & Roll playlist, it starts with The King. Yes, Elvis has had many hit songs throughout his musical career. Perhaps you remember my story, ELVIS, BETTY AND ME, that is found here, Elvis Presley appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1956. At age eight, his music managed to make a huge impression on me with Hound Dog, Blue Suede Shoes, Jailhouse Rock, and other hit songs.

VSS LETTERS & GUESS
"The evolution of a simple game to encourage engagement and have some Vocal fun." Babs Iverson When planning a social gathering, besides food, what else comes to mind? Did you guess games? If you did, you are correct! We love to play games. Incidentally, we just played a quick guessing game. Games can be used as a learning experience, as an ice breaker, or as a facilitator of engagement. Watching sporting games, we cheer for our favorite team. With the ubiquitous game shows, we sit on the couch and play along. My point is we love to play games. Perhaps, your family has a designated night to play games.
