Writing has always been my escape from reality. Letting me put memories, pain and desires into words. I enjoy making my stories poetic to really capture the scene and feeling of each line.

Lost in Thought
Replicated smiles from past endeavors, hoping this time it could be it. Craving admiration to validate my feelings. I can't figure out when the lust splits and goes separate ways.

Noir
I crave you, under our noir shower head, surrounded by the white tile covered in holographic rainbows. Water beads falling like rain above us. Streams trace my curves. Changing pace as it winds down my body. The steam, pressed up against the glass, my arms, tangled around you. Golden light hits my fogged silver jewelry and the steam wraps itself around my curls. We're bundled in the smell of humidity while the soft light dances around our shadows. Your fingers brush up against my face as we exchange pleasant dialogue. I want you closer, a place where water can't reach. We can create art with nothing, but the condensation. Relaxation might only last a couple hours. So please cleanse my mind when times arise, where we can't be under our noir shower head.

Ever since I owned my own camera, I was fascinated by the way I was able to capture time in a visual manner. For all the memorable days I wanted to last forever, concerts I wanted to relive, sunsets with colours a mind could never arrange.

When I was younger, my mom and I would walk to the grocery store together. We would leave after lunch when the sun was directly above us. I'd tie up my shoes feeling proud of myself and we'd walk into what seemed to feel like a ten kilometer hike.

You're my best friend. Not even my toughest confessions will be enough to break you. You're always still sitting beside me on my bed. Staring at my bloodshot eyes, knowing that this will be the lowest I'll ever feel. You have faith that I can always work out my biggest challenges. And if I can't, you will put your life on hold because I'm always first priority.

She's the one who leaves her perfume scent in your bedsheets. The first pair of eyes that lock with yours in the morning. She hides her face in your sweaters, and never forgets to kiss you goodnight.

Using your name seems like a violation, speaking is a burden and sleeping is crucial. Living on dreadful sleeps, dried tears and heartache. Falling a mile a minute in both directions. To the person who stole my daydreams and the one who kissed me goodnight. It's like the illustrator forgot to draw the rest of our scene.
