Sick For Them Pt24 Final. Content Warning.
Jax POV As I sit on the couch, the book resting on my lap, I find myself absorbed not so much in the story itself but in the little marks I’ve made throughout its pages. These marks have become something of an obsession for me. They’re the places where I’ve seen Dhalia react—whether it’s a quiet gasp, a tear rolling down her cheek, or that subtle squirm of excitement that she can’t quite hide. Whenever she reads with me in the room, and I catch one of those reactions, I make sure to mark the page number. Later, when she’s done, I go back and read those specific sections, trying to decode what it is about these words that stirs something inside her.

Sick For Them Pt 23. Content Warning.
Jax POV When I wake up, Dhalia and Blake are nowhere to be found. The first thing I think is that I’ve slept in. We’re supposed to be talking to Dhalia about her stepdad today, and I know after that conversation, she’ll probably want some space.

Sick For Them Pt 22. Content Warning.
Chase POV I watch as Jax walks off carrying Dhalia. Blake turns and walks to his room. He's still distant with me, and I know it's because I literally took charge of everything. Yes, he likes to submit, but what I did was control.

Sick For Them Part 21. Content Warning.
Jax POV I didn’t sleep last night. We drove around the city for hours, checking every corner, every place she might have gone. But we didn’t find her. We returned to the house multiple times, hoping she’d somehow turn up, but nothing. The worst part is, I have no idea if she’s even in this city or if she’s gone back to the one where she used to live.

Sick For Them Pt 20. Content Warning.
Chase POV Jax is struggling, and it’s clear to everyone. The pictures were the final nail in the coffin, undeniable proof that she was the one who betrayed us. She’s the only one with access to those moments, the only one who could walk into our rooms and take them. As much as Jax doesn’t want to believe it, he has no choice. We wanted evidence, and now we have it. Yet, despite everything, we’re still holding out hope, still struggling to believe that she could do this to us.

Sick For Them Pt 19. Content Warning.
Jax POV I cradle Dhalia in my arms as the car glides through the softly lit streets, the city outside a blur of shadows and fleeting lights. I'm not sure what I had expected tonight, but it certainly wasn't this. The entire time, I was convinced she would say her safe word, bolt, and never look back—just like everyone else had done before her.

Sick For Them Pt18. Content Warning.
Dhalia POV I wake up with a smile. Yesterday's memory is still fresh in my mind. It was a stressful day, but it ended perfectly—cooking with Blake, eating dinner together, and then cuddling between them in bed as we watched a movie. I must have fallen asleep quickly, feeling safe and content in their arms.

Sick For Them Pt17. Content Warning.
Chase POV I wanted us to run through the plan for the hunting game before it happens, but my mind keeps drifting. I can’t shake the uneasy feeling that Dhalia might panic and freak out when the time comes. But it’s too late to backtrack now. The week has flown by, and she’s settled into a routine, spending her days working and her nights with us. She’s become a part of our family, and the bond between all of us has only grown stronger. Still, there’s this lingering uncertainty—she hasn’t told us if she plans to stay or leave. Her decision remains a mystery, and I can’t help but wonder if she already knows but isn’t telling us.

Sick For Them Pt 16. Content Warning.
Jax POV. I ran out and have been claiming I need to work as my alibi to get away from Chase. The remorse is gnawing at me; declaring I was done felt harsh and impulsive. All day, his look of sheer terror has haunted me. That raw fear in his eyes after my words—it’s all I can focus on.

Sick For Them Pt15. Content Warning.
Chase POV Jax told us to talk to Dhalia, to distract her. I was so ready to walk into this damn room and see them talking, what I didn't expect was...Well... "What the fuck!" My heart pounds hard against my chest. I'm so fucking lost right now and I'm freaking out.

Sick For Them Pt 13. Content Warning.
Chase POV When we got back, I expected Jax to be hidden away and refuse to speak to us. What we weren't ready for was to find him in the kitchen cooking with Dhalia, and both Blake and I were thrown off by that.
