Mental Illness
I starting writing as a way to express myself and to get things out of my head. I write a lot to cope with depression. I have what they call mixed bi-polar. I am on meds for it. Seroquel is my friend, when I can take it. I say when cause when I take it I feel great I feel like me again, But I have a child that is learning to sleep, so I was off my meds for about three weeks. Those three weeks were crazy. I cycle moods quickly a lot of times. When in depression I don't care what I look like at all, I barely will brush my hair or do my make-up. I can't get off the couch, unless I have to. I won't want to do anything in all honestly I just want to sleep. My house will not be up to code with even myself and this causes problems when I cycle out of depressed mood cause it cause aniexty issues and feeling of overwhelming. I will think I am not good enough for anyone in my life, and I will be withdrawled from people and things I normally would enjoy.

My life As a child giver
I am a care giver to a very special needs child, she is six years old. She has autism, adhd, odd, aniexty and a really bad sleeping disorder. I am a single mom. Thankfully I am a stay at home mom. I honestly don't know how parents do it when they must work. Autism children normally thrive on routine, but sleeping pattern kind of messes that up. How can you do I routine with a child that can't sleep? My daughter only sleeps for about four hours, sometimes not even that. The last few nights she doesn't go to bed til four or five in the morning and than I am back up at eight or nine in the morning. Can you imagine what this is like for everyone? Well let me shine some light on this for you.

The Life Of A Type One Diabetic
Hi everyone I have been a type one diabetic since I was 8 (21 years) I wanted to share what its like and some things we wished everyone knew. First I would like to say what's in the picture. The bottle that says freestyle are test strips, we use those to check our sugar. The other bottle that saids ketostix is for checking our ketones when our sugar is high to make sure we are not in DKA ( explain DKA later) the meter looking thing with a strip coming out of it is actually the Omnipod insulin pump. That is the first and only insulin pump that is tubeless. Insulin pumps give us a little insulin every 15 minutes just like your Pancreas would. It also gives us boluses when we tell it that our sugars are high or we eaten ( corrections). The other little thing is a lancet device it helps our stick our fingers to create blood so that we can check our sugar levels.

My Lovely Pets
Bandit My first rescue was Bandit. At the time that I got him he was a seven year old chihuahua. I seen him on facebook for free he had 24 hours to be picked up or he had to go to the shelter. I knew being seven years old he probably wouldn't find a home very well. His owner had died, she had him his whole life he was a sad little boy anyway he needed someone to love him. So he was my first forever rescue. He is the sweetest little guy ever he was very loved and you could tell it. I have had him five years now. At first I didn't think he would become my forever cause he had never seen children before. His owner who passed was in her 80s.

My Angels story
My special Angels story on why she is special. My daughter was born early and had issues during pregnancy. I tried to get pregnant for five years, I couldn't. My doctor had put me on birth control, I don't know why. When I went back to get my birth control again the doctor came in and told me I was pregnant. I was shocked and scared, I had been taking birth control, how could this be? She did an ultrasound cause I didn't know how far along I was. I was 7 weeks, now I am really scared I had been taking bc for 12 weeks. Would she be okay? Pregnancy went great for awhile. Than at 6 months I had to much water around her and she was to big. Than starting in Feburary I started having to go into the hospital a couple times to get shots to stop labor. I wasn't due til April 15th. March 8th I went back to hospital shot again to stop labor. March 9th and 12th to shot again to stop labor. March 16th hospital again shot again to stop labor and a test to say weather I would have her within the next so many days it was negitive, Well they sent me home that night. I asked my mom to stay with me I didn't feel well. So she stayed and I drunk a lot of mountain dew ( I am a type one diabetic have been since age 8) I didn't take insulin because something kept telling me not to. Well I go upstairs to take a bath, As I am going down the stairs after I am done I pass out. My mom calls 911 she thought my sugar was high. They get there and they check my sugar I'm 22 ( None diabetic should be 70-180) they rush me to the hospital get my sugar stable and we deliever my baby girl. She was healthy besides her sugar being 24. We spent a couple days in the hospital, but we were okay. I was so glad to be able to go home, no more nurses coming in and out of room every two hours to check my sugar, or waking up to my baby being gone.
