Nintendo Switch 2 Keeps Up Fast Pace With US Pre-Order Sellout
Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 have sold out quickly at major retailers in the United States due to an overwhelming demand. Pre-orders began at midnight on April 24, 2025, but were quickly depleted at Walmart, Best Buy, Target, GameStop, and Sam’s Club. Due to the high volume of traffic, numerous customers encountered technical issues like website crashes and delayed confirmations. GameStop acknowledged the demand and is working to address bot and duplicate orders to potentially reopen inventory.
