30 Books to Read Before You Die (Pt. 12)
I have to admit that I for one am having a great time recommending you all really good books to read. As I have said a million times before, if you get just one new book to read from these lists then I have done the best I can do, and that was exactly my goal. Reading isn't just about reading, it is about experiencing a book, living a book, and sharing that experience with others if it is particularly poignant.

30 Books to Read Before You Die (Pt. 11)
You are probably now wondering why I'm still carrying on with these lists, but as I have said beforeโI will carry on as far as I can. I would like to share with you all the great books I've read. There's a lot of books out there, and there's also a lot of books I want to share with you.

30 Books to Read Before You Die (Pt. 10)
We are now at the tenth part of this series, and though this is a good round number, don't think we'll be ending with this part. No, we'll be moving on to part 11 very soon. For now though, I want you to appreciate how far we've come. We've been through everything from Ancient Greek plays to 19th Century Philosophy, from John Milton to Jack Kerouac and beyond, we've come from the 20th century and made it into the eras of the BC centuries. We have literally been here, there and everywhere when it comes to literature.

30 Books to Read Before You Die (Pt. 9)
So, we're on Part 9 of our journey into literature, and I really hope you've been keeping up with the reading! I'm joking, I only expect to give you at least one new thing to read, and if from these nine lists (so far!) you've gotten one new book to read, then I have done a perfect job. The reason why I make these lists really is because I don't really have anyone to talk to about books, and so I just write things about them.

30 Books to Read Before You Die (Pt. 8)
As we get on in this list, I hope I have at least suggested you one new thing to read that you wouldn't have if not for these lists here! If you've been following, you would've read the following seven parts by now (and if you haven't then click the links!)...

30 Books to Read Before You Die (Pt. 6)
As we make our way through the further parts of this series, you may see some of the books becoming more and more obscure. If you haven't checked out the previous section (which is ripe with 19th-century European stuff!) then click here to do so.

30 Books to Read Before You Die (Pt.5)
There are still so many books to get through, and as we speak I have created more and more as a part of my list that is ever-expanding. I love this journey you're coming on with me through various books that you should definitely add to your reading list for those you want to read before you die.

30 Books to Read Before You Die (Pt. 4)
If you haven't read the previous part to this then I suggest you do so by clicking here. We are now on part four, which is numbers 91-120, and I would love that, if you're following along with these, you tell me what you think of the books so far. I'm trying to keep a range of old and modern texts in there, so that it doesn't become monotonous. But then again, reading a good book or two is very rarely monotonous.

Bob Dylanโs Best Epic Narratives
Bob Dylan is not only known as the God of Folk for his production of some of the most incredibly memorable protest anthems of the 1960s. He is also known as the God of Folk, because of his output of the epic narrative. As youโve probably noticed whilst listening to Bob Dylanโs discography, he is a prolific writer, and tends to write some of his songs at a length of ten minutes or more. Some of his songs consist of multiple characters, an entire cast of different people representing different things. Some of his songs consist of fewer characters, but are very heavy on the storyโforcing the listener to listen to the song properly if they are to engage with the narrator on any level. With Bob Dylanโs discography there isnโt really a song that can be considered โbackground musicโ as every single track invites you into the atmosphere to look at various characters, themes, stories, plots, ideas, concepts, and critiques in a way that only Bob Dylan knows how to write.
