Annemarie Grosser
Bio
I have been writing for over 40 years, but also have family responsibilities. If there is a bright side to the pandemic, I have time now to regroup with my loved ones and rekindle my passion for writing.

Secret Stash
It was a dark and peculiar night in frigid February. A storm was anticipated through Tuesday afternoon. The wind had picked up, rattling the old front windows. Ripples
I am not sure where and when the ripples began. No one is certain how far-reaching they are. During a difficult time in my life, Mrs. Price gave me good advice. (I apologize for the inadvertent rhyme.) She shared with me that the best way to meet someone was either at church or volunteering. It worked for her and Fred. I didn't listen to her at first, so I spent a lot of time alone and lonely.

Wings of Flight
The restaurant was jammed with boisterous men and chattering women, welcoming Annie and Tom with a blast of warm air. The crowd was especially exuberant, celebrating Valentine's Day. Intermingled with the brass and wood decor, red and white balloons bobbed in the air, contributing to the festive atmosphere. The servers sported large, red paper heart name tags pinned to freshly-ironed white shirts, adding to the happy mood. Annie, oblivious to Tom's secret, chatted about their shopping while they waited for a table.
