Reunited After 25 Years 26: Wedding
On the morning of her second wedding, Andrea awoke with butterflies in her stomach. She'd known, of course, that this day was coming, but this morning it just seemed so much more real to her than ever before. The previous day had been her last full day of being a widow. Before the sun set today, she'd be a wife for the first time in over eighteen years, and not just anyone's wife. Anton's wife. The very thought of that sent a delicious shiver through her body that went all the day to her toes.

In Love With An Older Man 4: Wedding
June 1990 "We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day," Cindy remarked. It was very nice, warm but not sticky hot with a clear blue sky with white clouds floating in it like marshmallows. Cindy herself was lovely as well in a frilly white wedding dress, and she was glowing with happiness on this most special of days, as she, Gary, and Rabbi Schwartz stood under the chuppah waiting for their guests to arrive.

In Love With An Older Man 6: Baby Trouble
April 1991 "What's the matter, sweetheart?" To Gary, Cindy looked as if she might break down and cry any minute. Cindy shrugged. "I'm all right." She tried to look busy pouring coffee and setting the table for breakfast. Gary, knowing that something was wrong but willing to wait until she was ready to talk about it, watched her silently for a few minutes.

In Love With An Older Man 1
June 1992 Gary watched as the first baby was delivered. Cindy had received spinal anesthesia, so she was awake, but a drape separated her upper body from her lower abdomen so that she wouldn't see the actual surgical procedure. Gary had winced as the scalpel had opened Cindy's flesh, although he knew that she didn't actually feel any pain. After that, his awe at the miracle of birth took his mind off of everything else.

Little Women: If Beth Had Lived 11
The next few months passed happily for Beth and Laurie as they prepared for the birth of their child. Meg loaned Beth her maternity clothes and advised her on what to expect during various stages of her pregnancy, Jo visited on an almost daily basis to see how she was doing, and there were long letters from overseas, not only from Amy in London but from Laurie's cousin Gina in Rome as well.

Little Women: If Beth Had Lived 9
Together, Beth and Laurie soon transformed their new house into a home. Laurie went to work in his grandfather's business, and Beth kept their cozy home neat and tidy, lending her own special flair to its contents. In the evenings, when Laurie came home, Beth would serve dinner, and afterwards they would play duets on the piano and sing, or one would play and the other sing. Many happy hours were passed this way.
