Andrew was a Sauve Scholar at McGill Canada, a UN ITU Telecom World Digital Innovation Fellow in Geneva, a Masters of Science in Law student at Francis King Carey School of Law. He earned his BA from Fourah Bay College, Sierra Leone in 1998

A TIMELESS PHRASE
There has been a significant number of legendary figures who have maintained in a common refrain that ‘one person can make a difference’. Although there are still so many unsung heroes who continue to make a difference and often do so at great peril to their lives, yet these folks are often unheard of. Thanks to groups such as Giraffe Heroes International and My Hero Project, and so on, we are made to be aware of such unsung heroes.

Freedom Compromised
Freedom Compromised. By Andrew Benson Greene Jr. © (Written between May-August 2019). At last freedom has been compromised, In the land of the free and brave. If only the laws were not revised, I will run towards the foot of ‘Lady Liberty’ with hopes to be saved. And now from the bridges of New York to New Mexico, I can walk and talk freely in the home of the free and brave, And listen to a volcano of voices that will re-echo, What the ‘Founding Fathers’ in their true and distinct spirit gave. There is a call to maintain the statuesqoe In the home of the free and brave. Where a throng will be lining up in search of a life of warm embrace. From all ages and all races, not expecting to be disgraced, Like a migrant - Or an immigrant, Like an asylee - Or a refugee, I will dash towards ‘Lady Liberty’ with assurance of being saved. But now, I wish freedom has not been diluted In the land of the free and brave, And the minds of some in the land are no longer polluted With draconian laws, now made even more grave, In the home of the free and brave. And ‘We the People’ are not divided into them versus us But united in peace, freedom and a common cause In the home of the free and brave.

I Visited The Kremlin
When I first began to think of going to Moscow and the counting of Rubles, the official currency of Russia, I think of Shakespeare’s famous plays. I began to imagine an ancient city, as old and quaint as my imagination can fathom. Moscow counts as a very modern city dotted here and there by relics of the hay days of capitalist reign, an impression that still lingers on her shoulder. Yet, the monasteries, which I visited and the famous cathedrals that have survived far more dramatic threats are under some kind of reconstruction. My mind’s eye can still glaze at the unbreakable Kremlin Walls and hovering Towers and the Red Square where many wonderful, and truly elaborate parades must have taken place through the centuries, watched by Czars and other great figures of the day.

If the shoe fits.
IF THE SHOE FITS The shoe has often defined our characters, personalities and created prestige. Through out many generations, it has evolved in both style and fashion. It has transcended many generations, inspiring artist, designers and musicians. The shoe has propped up models and fashion artist to cat-walk on stage...it has defined our civilization. Yet, the shoe was born out of necessity to protect the feet which has one of the most bones in the body (some 26) bones. At the exhibit is the chance to 'learn the art and sole of the shoe, to trace its footprints through history and culture. Part fantasy, part function, this exhibit looks at footwear from every angle, and features shoe design, sculpture, and invention, plus a bonus of shoe-painting designs and workshops .
