The Anatomy of Feeling. Content Warning.
The careful words we bite back, the itch that swells before a sneeze, the way joy blooms under your skin like a sunflower stretching toward spring, and how sadness settles over you—a weighted blanket pressing down to the marrow. Feelings shift like the weather, unique as fingerprints yet familiar as breath. For each of us, at different measures, we all know these tides: the swell, the crash, the quiet, aching in between. We all know it by name- even when we pretend not to. Some mount them like stallions, let their currents chart the way, others build walls against their tides, refuse to speak their shape. But the bloom and the weight are no less real.

Unlived Affection
I can't imagine us ever being in love. There's no together with you. All the days I spent in your presence, Sitting outside, staring into the dark skies As you spoke of your troubles and the future you envisioned— I felt hollow, a loneliness I couldn't shake.

The vieled canvas. Content Warning.
Here I am, seated before a blank canvas. Anxiety crawls all over me. I close my eyes and inhale as deeply and as long as I can. I see it—the anticipation in their eyes. They are unaware of my lack of intent in making this a lustrous or glossy piece.
