Bio
Eclectic stream of consciousness and dark surrealism. What photography does for life I do for thought, emotions, and experiences. The genres can range from romance to horror but my favorite is suspense.

A Rock and A Hard Place
I recently went for an "interview". Felt more like an interrogation. Let me preface this by saying that this was an attempt at a transfer! It was a sort of internal interview. I wasn't trying to transfer from store to store BUT I was trying to transfer to another store chain owned by the same company.

The Brat
Great, another "meeting". I was sick and tired of this god damned manager. He just didn't know how to talk to people. He was one of those guys that talked 'at' people not 'to' them. I almost felt sorry for him since he wasn't experienced with our type of store. It was so big and had so many moving parts...so to speak. He bit off more than he could chew and like I said I almost felt sorry for him. He seemed to not like me at all, although he tried to hide it by being passive aggressive and joking. I'm not sorry for the way I am. If I know how to do something better I'll suggest it, there's no time to sugar coat things, this is work.

Square One
There are seven songs that always remind me of the man I love. I noticed today while listening to them that they represent the emotional journey I've been on regarding our 'relationship'. I write relationship in quotes because it's complicated...like all great love stories. I'm being sarcastic- it is not a great love story...it's not even a great love. Whatever hold this man has on me will not be relinquished. I've tried. But I've reached a point in my life where I'm ok with this finally.

10 Rules For The "Goth Girl"
I recently read "9 Rules For The Black Birdwatcher" and "9 New Revelations For The Black American Birdwatcher" for a college course. I really loved Lanham's style and the content. He wrote conversationally which lulled you into a false sense of security then BAM! He hits you with the hard societal issues that people don't want to talk about...because it's uncomfortable. I also recently came to the conclusion that if something is uncomfortable to talk about then it ABSOLUTELY SHOULD BE TALKED ABOUT.
