Why should I supplement my baby with vitamin K? Vitamin K deficiency is a blood coagulation disorder caused by the lack of vitamin K. It is mainly seen clinically in the first three months of newborns and is a common disease in infancy. If the child is sick, he may bleed unstoppable or have diarrhea, convulsions, or cerebral edema.
