Pearl
So I went to see Pearl this last weekend with no context other than seeing a poster. I had absolutely no idea what this movie was about, not even the genre. Lately I have discovered that going into films with no expectations yields better results and more enjoyment in my movie going experience, and that was the exact result with Pearl. Pearl is a funny, brilliant, fascinating film that would also make the perfect addition to anyone’s Halloween movie list.

The Reality of She-Hulk
There are many criticisms circulating around the Disney+ She-Hulk show, none are valid however. Even the opinions close to approaching valid, completely miss the point of the show. She-Hulk is a funny, relevant and much needed addition to the Marvel universe that has been under fire since its inception. Review bombed before it's release She-Hulk has been fighting off internet trolls with every episode, brilliant social media moves from the shows fan account have only pissed off internet fanboys more. The likelihood of horrendous treatment of its women characters is damn near 100%. So here we go, my live feed thoughts on its second installment.

House of the Dragon
House of the Dragon was released this last weekend and I have many, many thoughts… This series is adapted from a book and takes place 172 years before the birth of Dany aka the love of my life. Now the only reasons I am watching this show are because I love the Targaryens (meaning I love Dany), and because Matt Smith is in it and he is my favorite Doctor. With an all male productions team trying to tell a women's story I am going into this series very very cautious, and skeptical. I, of course, took stream of consciousness notes so here we go;

Comic Book Rewind
My last rewatch was the original release of X-men released in 2000, well the sequel was released in 2003 and continued the story we were introduced to as well as introducing new characters. The sequel retained the same screenwriting team allowing (hopefully) for consistency and cohesiveness. I enjoyed the first one overall but let's see how the second one holds up….
