The Best of Buffy
Okay so we are going through every season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and pinpointing the best parts of it. By both picking out the best episodes and the best moments. Something Buffy is really good at is having a monster of the week format while also contributing to the overall big bad of the season. Season 2 is our first “full” season. Season one was much shorter due to it being a pilot season, this means it either premiered in the middle of a network’s normal season OR the network wouldn’t greenlight more episodes until they saw the ratings. Season 2 was its first renewal, thus we get a normal amount of episodes.

Best of Buffy
We are off to college! Buffy and the scooby gang have graduated and they are off to bigger and better things, well some of them are. As we are going through, the Best of Buffy season 4 will not rank on most people’s lists. It is often a very mocked season and I am here to change your mind about that. Because quite frankly I’d rather watch season 4 then season 5, but we will get into that. New places, new love interests and new big bads. Let’s get into Season 4 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Best of David Tennant
David Tennant is one of the best Doctors to ever hold the title now that means that he has many incredible episodes during his run of Doctor Who. But of course I have some favorites so here we go with my favorite David Tennant episodes of Doctor Who.

Ranking River Song Episodes
Literally one of my favorite parts of Doctor Who is River Song. She is brilliant and amazing and one of my favorite tv characters of all time. She played really important roles in each of her doctors stories but there are definitely storylines and pairings that are better. So here we go with ranking all of the River Song episodes from less awesome to most awesome.

Gallifrey One
This weekend is Gallifrey One Los Angeles’ Doctor Who convention. This is my first time going and because of a work event I can only go for one day. So of course that one day is going to be packed. But I picked a good year to go because both Billie Piper and Alex Kingston are going to be there. So because you guys know I like sharing my convention schedule with you, here is my plan for the Saturday of the convention. Now I have kind of noticed that there are a lot of extras for this convention. More than normal there are extra things (beyond autographs and photos) that you can pay for. Now I am poor and I didn’t do any of that, but I will be pointing out some of the events that I wish I had the extra cash for as well.

Percy Jackson
The first season of the Disney+ Percy Jackson series is now over and I have many thoughts. Now these are thoughts completely untainted by nostalgia or even knowledge of the book. I wanted to wait until the end of the season to read the first book so there will be another article comparing the two. However I firmly believe that the series stands on its own and the complaints from book readers are nitpicky and irrelevant.

Dune Review
Okay so here’s the deal…I didn’t see Dune when it was first released. But now the second part is coming out and they re-released the first part in theaters so we went to go see it so I wasn’t incredibly lost. I loved it. Obviously I am going to get into some details here but I think it is one of the best fantasy stories ever written.

Upgraded
Camilla Mendez has been getting some work done since Riverdale and honestly all of her other projects have shown what a great actress she is when the script isn’t terrible. Her latest streaming service movie is Upgraded and it's on Amazon Prime. Mendez is also listed as an executive producer on the project.

Argylle
In a time where movie audiences are desperate for something new and creative we welcome Argylle. Marketed as a movie about a spy novel, author Argyll offers a fun and exciting twist on existing spy and action movies. I’m not going to lie. I really didn’t expect a lot from this movie, I expected some humor, and a very campy feeling. What I didn’t expect was a genuinely fun and creative movie.

Avatar the Last Airbender
There are many things flying around the internet about Netflix’s live action Avatar the Last Airbender series. Fans of the original animated series have been holding out cautious hope for a while now and we have expectations. This is one of the most definitively perfect shows of all time and the choice to turn it into a live action after the execution of the film was a bold one. The series releases on the 22nd and fans are already pointing out the horrendous choices that the creatives have made. Perhaps the first mistake is the creatives opening their mouths about the unnecessary changes that they have decided to make. Perhaps the problem was choosing to make the series in the first place, either way we have things that NEED to happen in this show. Without them the show will fail and the fans will do everything in their power to make sure that it never gets a chance at a second season.

Behind the Trend
Occasionally a streaming service (mostly Netflix) will drop a short series that takes over the internet for a few weeks and sometimes months. They are mostly flash in the pan type things, the internet has no attention span. And I mostly try to avoid them until the hype dies down. Because like it or not we are all moldable and I'd like to avoid group think. So I wait until the internet is over it before watching anything that generates that much attention. I like to see if the hype was worth it. So here we go with our first behind the trend watch: Inventing Anna.
