The year is 2100. It's dark, quiet. Space can be a lonely space sometimes, but not for Alexander Adams, he much prefers to spend time alone. So when NASA had told him that they had a mission for him, and only him, he jumped at the chance. He had wanted to be an astronaut his entire life, ever since he was young. All the other kids would play outside, feel the breeze against their face, get bumps and bruises, but not Alex. He would stay at home and research everything he could about the great beyond, hoping that one day he would be up there. And here he is now, in a one man space shuttle, in the vacuum of space all by himself. His very own paradise. The mission he was sent out to do involves him landing on an asteroid heading to Earth to gather some samples of the rock for examination, it sounds simple, but the asteroid is close, so he needs to be fast. As he nears the asteroid, he takes a look around at the stars. All of them glistening, all of them a king of their very own solar system and although they're all millions of light years from him, he feels closer to them than ever. "The universe is a beautiful creation." He merely whispers to himself as he stares in awe at what lays in front of his eyes.
