Operation: Homeless Again
What is Your price for freedom? Have you named it? Do you Live it? I won't bog you down with further searching questions. You have come here to read my words--to infer from them as you will, naturally--so I shall give them to you as best I may in the present moment, and by way of my ever-shifting neural pathways.

Title
I would be the first to admit that in some ways, I am a real loser. I know that I have the capability and the resources to contribute to people through inspiration, I just refuse to do it through the course of having some menial weekday job.

"A Writer Writes...Always!"
Our Top Story Tonight...: IS THIS ACCURATE?? I imagine there is an unacknowledged generational divide on the origin of the (uncondensed) subtitled phrase above, as while I grew up on both Toy Story (1995) and Throw Momma From The Train (1987), I only realized somewhat recently that the phrase actually originated from the latter film. I don't know if that was the first time it was ever used, but it certainly was an interesting discovery for me.

Writing To Instrumentation
Leed's House (From "Manhunter" Soundtrack) - The Reds Spooky, no doubt. It's 10:01. Had another sip of black coffee, waiting for my pumpernickel toast to be done. Wishing I could be with that girl. Have to clean the apartment. Have to continue editing my book(s) so that I'll have a source of income I can maintain without having to kill myself doing things that are a chore in perpetuity. Tired of thinking I have chances with people when all it amounts to in the end are opportunities that are held out of reach because someone is "unavailable". I just don't see the reason to continue; I just don't see the reason to stop trying; I just don't see the reasoning behind what it is that I am supposed to do, in right. Perhaps it is the curse of the little things along the way. But it really doesn't matter how "tired" you get, because things do not change. Anything that involves emotions that are supported by acquirements from the outside is a losing game.

Bits & Pieces
What follows is an experiment I have conducted before, where I pool my decaying Vocal fragments and attempt to bind them in some cohesive manner. While I do put honest effort into molding the overall piece, it is still an attempt more desperate than intended--mainly because of the platform's 600 word minimum (for non-poetry submissions), which I find a hindrance and nothing more.

A First-Person Perspective Exercise
I am walking through a tunnel of leaves, the wind a gentle caress that pushes my surroundings to and fro. There is a soft sound of music seeping through the green, stealing through the avenues unsealed. Direction is left to the wayside as forward pulls me on. I have no destination in sight--only onward, and upward.
