Growing up, we didn't have a lot of money. Most days, the only time I ate was at school. I remember when I was about fourteen, I was worried that my Dad didn't have food at home to eat and I put my lunch sandwich in my sweatshirt pocket to bring home to him. During the summer I was able to escape my house to my grandparent's house.

"There weren't always dragons in the valley." Grandpa whispered. You had to be quiet when speaking about the dragons- or the King may hear and his Guard would drag you to the Pits. Grandpa looked at the end of the alley where the street was full of people shuffling by, huddled together for warmth under the cold bleak winter sky as they walked. Grandpa licked his lips and they burned; they were cracked from telling this story to anyone who would listen. He didn't have much time. They had been tracking him as his story spread through the town like a savage wildfire. There was unrest among the people; they would soon find the source of the rumors.

With summer around the corner, I'm feeling the itch of cabin fever and I have the feeling that I'm not alone. While wanting to travel but also not break the bank, I've decided to make a list of my favorite places to visit in Michigan that others may have never heard of.

Top Five Attractions in Yellowstone National Park (YNP)
5.) Mount Washburn Most likely considered one of the "plainer" attractions at Yellowstone National Park, this landmark is a diamond in the rough. It doesn't seem like much as you drive, or hike, up the winding trail; but at the top is an inspirational view of the park that seems to stretch on forever. The photos were breathtaking- and mostly free from other tourists. A great place for picnics, many families had their kids play here and photographers scaled the peak for photos like this:

My Top Five Webtoons. Top Story - March 2022.
I downloaded the app Webtoon a few years ago now. I've always enjoyed reading and this app offered a new way to read interesting stories on the go- without needing to worry about preserving an actual book from my adventure. My cousins and I all enjoyed reading the app's contents and shared many favorite comics. It was a bonding moment for us you could say, especially when we would gush to each other after finishing a newly released chapter. I'll be honest, novels are more to my liking than comics but the stories that I found on this app were so original and interesting that I couldn't help being sucked in. The best thing about this app? It's a platform for aspiring graphic novelists that actually offer a chance of recognition- if your comic is good enough to pull readers in.
