Winters Glory

A harsh wind howls down the mountain side.

A wet misty fog is dragged along with it. It's thrown into onto anything in the path of the winds movement. Lights reflections dance as it, is reflected in the full moons rays..

Left behind on every object touched by it. Is a glittering of light reflection onto darkness of night and the whiteness of the snow. Although it is the dead of night the mountain is a light and alive. It sparkles and shines as if an artist hand had painted it on canvas.

What once was a dark night that with out the aid of a flash light one should not traversed. Now is lighted and shines as if dawn has awaken early.

With each breath the feeling of sandy pricks are at your lungs as the air drowns you. Than it turns into liquid cold and you are unable to catch a proper breath.

Joy and anticipation, tonight is the night above all nights of the year. This is charismas for all to see and enjoy. Love and laughter is shared with one and all.

We stand at the crest of the mountain. Watching as skiers guild down into the bowl of it. Each stopping at there intended spot. As each hand held colored light is joined the next and the next then when the line is competed.

A large bright white light appears at the top of the mountain like a star it shines above all others. A human charismas tree is depicted there in the snow. Below is the line of colored lights that each person helped to create by holding a large colored light in a zig zag pattern down the mountain.

Close your eyes breath in deeply and slowly smell the pine feel the cold wet air in your lungs. Hold the image in your mind and imagen you are there!

Oh was that a small chill? I hope so let yourself go there. Have good thought enjoy the moment.
