**The Wolf and the Old Woman's Kindness**

In a dense forest, an old woman lived in a small cottage with her beloved pets: a gray cat named Lulu, a loyal dog named Thunder, and a cheerful hen named Flower. She cared for them like her own children.

One day, while gathering firewood, a hungry wolf emerged from the trees, eyeing Flower with a greedy stare. He approached the cottage and growled, "Old woman, I’m taking your hen today. I’m starving!"

The old woman looked at him calmly and said, "Dear wolf, if you’re hungry, I’ll make you food, but don’t harm my friends." The wolf was surprised by her kindness but remained wary. Just then, Thunder barked fiercely, Lulu hissed and showed her claws, and Flower scurried behind the old woman.

The wolf, though intimidated, insisted, "I’ll take the hen no matter what!" But the old woman smiled and said, "Wait, I’ll bring you warm vegetable soup." She went inside, prepared a steaming bowl of soup, and placed it before the wolf. Hesitant at first, the wolf sniffed the delicious aroma and decided to try it. He devoured the soup, feeling warm and satisfied.

The old woman said, "See? No need for harm. If you’re ever hungry, come back, and I’ll feed you." The wolf, ashamed of his intentions, muttered, "Thank you, kind woman. I won’t forget this." Then he slipped quietly back into the forest.

From that day on, the wolf occasionally visited the old woman, not to hunt, but to enjoy her soup and listen to her stories. And her pets? They grew used to him, with Flower even trailing behind him sometimes as he left the cottage.
