In a busy city, there lived a young man named Karim who spent countless hours on Facebook. He constantly posted photos, shared daily updates, and watched his likes and hearts as if they measured the value of his life.

One evening, Karim uploaded a new photo of himself at a fancy café, captioned: "Best day ever!"

But the next morning, to his surprise, the post had zero likes. None. Just... nothing.

He reopened the app several times, restarted his phone, and even checked his internet connection. But then came the real shock:

The "Like" button had disappeared—just from his account.

Karim felt invisible. As if his voice had been silenced in a world that only spoke in thumbs and hearts. He stopped posting altogether and quietly withdrew from the platform.

Days passed. Karim began spending more time with his family, going on walks without feeling the need to document every moment. He started journaling for himself, rather than writing for others.

While everyone else was still chasing likes, Karim realized that what he had been missing wasn’t a "Like" button—it was liking himself, without needing virtual applause.
