With the Reality Modulator finally back in my possession, I knew the only way to undo the damage was to destroy it. As I executed a series of self-destructive tasks, the castle collapsed around me.
The horror of the machine faded into memory and the world slowly began to graze. I went back to my lab, which is now a sanctuary of salvation. My obsession took a heavy toll, but I eventually regained my identity and regained my balance in a world on the verge of collapse.
