Last Tuesday, I had an inspiring experience at my local Coffee Café Day (CCD) shop that reminded me of the importance of great customer service. I was having a rough morning and went in to get my usual cold coffee. The barista named Sharad noticed I was looking a little sad and started a conversation because he already knew me.

Sharad didn’t just take my order; he asked how my day was going and genuinely listened to me. When I mentioned that I was feeling stressed at work, Sharad said some encouraging words and even drew a smiley face on my coffee cup with a motivational quote: “See, you can do this too.”

This small act of kindness and personal touch changed my entire day. It was a powerful reminder that great customer service isn’t just about the product – it’s about building relationships and showing empathy. Sharad’s positive attitude and extra effort made a significant impact on my day.
