n a quiet field lived a small mouse named Laila. The other animals often mocked her for being tiny and soft-spoken. But inside, she was smart and brave.
One day, the mighty lion—the king of the jungle—was caught in a hunter’s trap. He struggled, but the ropes were too strong.
Laila approached and said, “I’ll help you.”
The lion chuckled, but let her try.
With her tiny teeth, she gnawed at the ropes until the lion was finally free.
The lion smiled and said, “Today, I learned that courage isn't measured by size.”
Moral: Never underestimate someone because of their size—true strength can come from the smallest among us.

French Symbolist artist Gustave Moreau was known for his brilliant depictions of mythological and religious themes. He studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts and took private art courses with artist Theodore Chasseriau. In 1857 Moreau went to Italy and studied the paintings of Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Giovanni Bellini. He became the professor of the artists Henri Matisse and Georges Rouault at the Ecole des Beaux Arts. The Musée National Gustave Moreau is in Paris.
