“ Oh ! That looks good .”I said pointing onto a tree far away from us . The tree looked lifeless , as if it had given up hope and was waiting for death . It was dark and the moon did justice to the tree by highlighting the leafless twisted branches that run for eternity. “ Yeah , I agree but look at the crescent moon . It looks exactly the same as the night I saw you for the first time .” Logan said “ Oh ! Is it .” I said , an evident attempt to distract him from the topic I was staring out of the window admiring the beauty of the hopeless tree when I felt his breathing get heavier. “ Are you fin…” As I was turning to face him I saw his face move closer to mine . The look on his eyes were different yet similar. Yes , similar to the look mahi gives me , similar to the look jagan gives me . My breathing got heavier too , but for a different reason. I felt chills running down my spine knowing that it was the look of lust . His eyes were full of it . There was not a trace of love in it. I was not prepared for what happened next. His hands moved closer to my cheeks . I knew that he was coming in for a kiss . The subtle change of expression on my face had no effect on him . He continued to come close . I swiftly looked down as if I dropped something. “ Can we go now?” I asked him pretending to look down trying my best not to offend him or make him feel uncomfortable. I thought he would stop and respect my boundaries ,but before I could respond, his hands were on my chin trying to lift my face . It felt forceful. I had no intention to offend him , but I pushed him away . “ please, I want to go back .” I begged . “ Sorry ! I just wanted to kiss you . I love you so much and you know it .” he said trying to defend himself “ But I don’t love you . Even if I do ,that doesn’t give you the right to force yourself on me without my consent. “ I yelled back . I felt my words echoing in my stomach . I feeling of disgust wouldn’t just go away. The ride back to GH was silent. Silent as if the only sound I could hear was that of my own breathing. The whole way back I chose to look out of the window taking time to comprehend what just happened. The racing thoughts wouldn’t just settle in . The constant stream of questions and doubts kept popping up in my head . Did he bring me here with the intention of kissing me ? What made him think that I would kiss him back ? How can he use I love you as an excuse to forcefully kiss me ? My stream of thought got disrupted by his voice “ Don’t you think you are overreacting .” Logan said The change of expression on my face wasn’t subtle this time .The audacity this man had to justify his doing and try to manipulate me into thinking that I was overreacting. What the actual fuck ! The disgust and disappointment turned into anger . Before I knew it , anger was rolling down my cheeks dripping down on to my phone . I felt like I was in danger . I took my phone out and messaged Sam my live location . “ I am not gonna do anything to you . I saw you messaging your friend. I don’t want you to feel threatened. I am taking you back home .” As he was completing his sentence Sam called . “ Where the hell are you Tessa ? Why did you sent me your love location? Are you hurt ? Do you want me to come get you ? Speak something Tessa .” the anger in Sam’s voice turned into concern . “ I am ok Sam , I’ll call you tomorrow. I’ll explain everything I promise.” I tried to assure him that everything was fine but he wasn’t convinced. After about 10 minutes of shouting and scolding me I somehow convinced Sam that I was fine. “ You know me better that this . I wouldn’t do that to you.” Logan’s voice echoed through the car I kept silent. I always hated when he pretends to be gentlemen through words but his actions prove something else. I reached my destination. I got off the car and walked away without saying anything.
