Plant Your Garden And Water Your Soul, Instead Of Waiting For Someone To Bring You Flowers.
Love,flower and reality.
If you deliberately plan on being less than you are capable of being, then I warn you that you’ll be unhappy for the rest of your life.
You have been criticized yourself for years and it hasn’t worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens. The best relationship inspire you to become your best self without changing you into someone else.
My Psychology Professor said “when you fall in love with someone, you’re not interested in anyone else. If you are, you aren’t in love and I think everyone needs to hear that.
Your self worth is determined by you. You don’t have to depend on someone telling you who you are.
Don’t chase people . Be yourself. Do your own thing. And work hard. The right people _the ones who really belong in your life. Will come to you.
Love for others without the foundation of love for ourselves becomes a lot of boundaries. Codependency and a painful and fruitless search for intimacy. But when we contact through meditation, our true nature, we can allow others to also find theirs. The hardest challenge is to be yourself in a world where everyone is trying to make you be somebody else. This signifies taking initiative and creating your own life and happiness, rather than passively waiting for something to happen.
"and decorate your own soul".This emphasizes the importance of self-care and nurturing your inner self, focusing on personal growth and well-being.
instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers":
This highlights the idea of not relying on external validation or gifts for happiness, but instead finding fulfillment within yourself.
Have you ever heard that quote, everyone is looking for love in the wrong places? That means that everyone is searching for outside circumstances to give them what they want when instead, it begins with yourself. Everything worthy (and worth-it) begins from the inside out.
Whatever it is that you are searching for, start looking for it within yourself. If you can’t find it, then begin to give yourself those things. Are you looking for love? Learn to love and accept who you are, and you won’t be desperately seeking it from other people. Are you looking for abundance? Learn to create it yourself instead of hoping you’ll win the lottery one day.
Ask yourself honestly, what am I looking for? What do I want my life to be like? Put your ego aside when you’re answering these questions. Let your soul answer these questions because then at least it’s coming from your heart.
It’s human nature to crave things such as fulfillment, freedom, joy, love, etc. But it begins with you by first recognizing what you want, then putting the actions toward creating those things for yourself. If you only knew deep down like I do, that you can truly create anything you want in your life when you begin to take accountability for yourself and your actions toward what you’re looking for.
It doesn’t have to be hard. It doesn’t have to be painful. It can be easy. It can be fun. It can and will be rewarding. Change your mindset around your beliefs, and what you are making them mean and your response to them will change as well.
Fill your life up with the things you want and love. And don’t leave that job in anyone else’s hands because that’s like giving away your most treasured item and hoping they will do the right thing, and every time. You’re not only risking yourself up for disappointment but setting up yourself too.
So plant your own gardens and decorate your own soul, instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.” Jorge Luis Borges John Singer Sargent.
