Nashra Sandhu, Sadia Iqbal, Muneeba Ali help Pakistan draw level
In the second T20I in Multan, Pakistan triumphed over South Africa by 13 runs, leveling the series. Pakistan posted 181 for 4, with Muneeba Ali leading the charge with 45 runs and Sana Mir contributing 37. The bowling performance from left-arm spinners Nashra Sandhu and Sadia Iqbal was pivotal, with Sandhu taking 2 wickets for 20 runs and Iqbal 2 for 27.
South Africa, chasing a target of 182, managed 168 for 4, thanks to an impressive unbeaten 53 from Sune Luus and a solid 30 from Chloe Tryon. The pair formed a strong fifth-wicket partnership of 80 runs off 42 balls, marking the highest for South African women in T20Is. Despite their efforts, they fell short of the target.
Pakistan's innings began with a loss of opener Gull Feroza in the fourth over, but Muneeba Ali’s aggressive 45 off 34 balls, including six fours and two sixes, laid a strong foundation. She and Sidra Amin built a 49-run partnership before Muneeba was dismissed by Annerie Dercksen in the 11th over.
