Quite possibly one of the most entrancing accomplishments in wizardry is the capacity to suspend, and there are numerous strategies to get this going. In this video, we will cover just a couple of them. We will cover a few straightforward strategies that should be possible at home right now, then a few further developed procedures that will take a tad of training and readiness. We'll likewise cover a few additional costly renditions the experts utilize that you've presumably seen on some public TV programs. So hit that like button and let's prepare to figure out how to suspend.

In this first strategy, the entertainer walks into the room and then covers the front of their body with a blanket or a towel. Then magically, they appear to suspend off the floor. This looks pretty convincing, and it is easy to perform. You'll start by attaching a couple of shoes with a big elastic band or putting velcro on the sides of the shoes so they stay together. Now, if you move one shoe, the other one moves alongside it, and that is the key to this illusion. When the entertainer hides themselves with the blanket, they're really removing their right foot from the shoe and setting it right behind their other foot. Now, under the front of the blanket, the entertainer takes their left foot off the ground and moves it around. The two shoes move together, causing it to seem like they're suspending. To finish this illusion, the performer returns their foot to the other shoe and removes the blanket.

In this next technique, with no cover at all, the entertainer approaches a step stool and appears to suspend up to the top of it. He then hovers in midair with no visible support. What's neat about this technique is that it's very cheap to make and can be done at home right now. To do this, you'll need a loose pair of pants, such as jeans, and then cut a slit through and through on the right leg. Then, from inside the jeans, paste or tape the jeans to the bottom of the shoe. It looks messy from the front, but remember that they won't ever see this side; they see everything from the back. Next, apply velcro to the inside edge of both shoes, or in this case, I'm using sneakers. The velcro is used so that when you push the two shoes together, they stick to each other, and when you lift one, the other one lifts too. It's similar to what I did before with the elastic bands. As you move forward to pose, you'll keep your two feet intact so the velcro sticks. This will allow you to remove your right foot from the shoe and slip your leg out of the cut inside the pants. Now, your right foot will move forward onto the stool, and you'll lift your body up. But from the back, the two legs stay together, and it looks like you're floating.

This next technique is extremely popular with street performers because there are no angles that it doesn't work from. It looks perfect from every angle; you could have even seen it on a popular TV show. You could have even seen two performers doing this act together. But regardless, the technique is always the same. You'll see that in each case, there is something on the floor, whether it's a blanket, a carpet, or as I mentioned before, sand from the seaside. The reason for that is to cleverly camouflage the steel support that is holding the entertainer in the air. In this case, the support runs from the floor up the staff that he's holding, then it goes at his disposal down his back and makes a seat that he's perched on.

This next levitation is generally done as a stage effect because the setup is very cumbersome, and the angles really matter. The assistant is lying comfortably on this small support bed, and the entertainer is standing right in here. His body covers the upward bar, so the audience can't see it. Now, you might be wondering how the performer moves a hoop over the body without causing a disturbance around the town bar. There are no holes or gaps in the hoop; it's really about the movement the entertainer uses . He starts from one end and goes over the entire support pillar. But then see how he turns the hoop the opposite way, never really crossing where the pillar is. From the front, it looks like the band went across the entire body, and that's how performers suspend you.
