Loving The Body Through Art
How I learned to see beauty in truth

I used to paint from pain. I was searching for something I could not name. Then one day I looked at my own reflection and decided to paint what I needed to believe. That is how my body art began.
I wanted to show women what freedom looks like. Not in perfection but in presence. Every brushstroke became a conversation with myself. Every curve I painted felt like an apology I finally released.
When I paint women I do it with care. I think about the stories their bodies carry, the love they deserve, the silence they have survived. I use color the way some people use words to say what cannot be spoken out loud.
Through this work I learned that loving your body is not about mirrors or approval. It is about peace. It is about knowing that your skin tells your story and you do not have to rewrite it.
I paint to remind women that their bodies are already art.
