Love in the moon

True story

By Sanusi olaitan Published 9 months ago 1 min read

As the full moon cast its silvery glow over the rolling hills, Emily made her way to the old oak tree. It was their spot, the place where she and Jack had shared countless laughter, tears and whispers.

Their love story began on a night just like this, under the same moonlit sky. Emily, a free-spirited artist, had stumbled upon Jack, a charming musician, playing his guitar beneath the oak tree. The melody had drawn her in, but it was Jack's piercing blue eyes that had captured her heart.

As the nights turned into weeks, and the weeks into months, their love continued to grow. They'd sit together under the oak tree, watching the moon rise high in the sky, and dream of a future filled with music, art and adventure.

But life had other plans. Jack's music career took off, and he found himself touring the world, while Emily stayed behind to pursue her own artistic passions. The distance took its toll, and their love began to wane like the phases of the moon.

Tonight, however, was different. Jack was back in town, and Emily had invited him to meet her at their old spot. As she approached the oak tree, she saw Jack standing there, his guitar slung over his shoulder, and his eyes shining bright with love.

"Emily," he whispered, taking her hand. "I've missed you so much."

"I've missed you too, Jack," she replied, her voice barely audible over the beating of her heart.

As they stood there, bathed in the moon's ethereal light, Emily knew that their love was still alive. It had been hiding, like the moon in its phases, but it was still there, waiting to be rediscovered.

And as they shared a tender kiss under the oak tree, Emily knew that their love would continue to shine bright, just like the moon in the night sky.
