One of the main characters of the audiobook Capsul, by Javier Ghoma

By Richard HattPublished about a year ago 3 min read

The audiobook Capsul, has emerged again on the internet. With a total of fourteen chapters full of intrigue and action, Javier Ghoma, its creator, introduces one of the fourteen characters that represent the initial cast of the project: Jana, played by Judith Adsuara.

What is Capsul? The story takes place in a female youth paintball competition, where 180 players divided into six teams, compete for thirty days for a succulent prize. It is here where the presence of Jana, the leader of the matte team, comes to life through Judith. For, with her mysterious presence and winning streak, she manages to become one of the novel's most important characters throughout the plot.

But who is the actress behind the character? For that, we must go back to Judith's past as a model, in 2017. Her career began with her participation in the advertising campaign of the shoe brand Besson. Subsequently, she participated in her first short film, in addition to being image, in the Christmas campaign for Ariadna Peinado. Over the years, Judith has participated in all kinds of sessions, promotions and youth solidarity parades. Notorious is her collaboration with renowned brands such as Wolskwagen or Ford.

It is here in our corner of art and discovery, where we talk to Judith about her participation in the Capsul project, and her vision for the near future.

Why did you decide to participate in Capsul?

The novel hooked me, and I knew the audiobook would fascinate me. It is an opportunity to make yourself known in the audiovisual world.

How do you think a competition affects the participants who play every day?

I think it affects them in several ways. The participant who is winning feels pressured to continue doing it and it leads to emotional and physical exhaustion. The player who is losing will also suffer, as she will tend to get even more involved in order to achieve the goal of winning. It generates rivalry between the teams and brotherhood in the same.

What can you tell us about your character?

Jana is one of the most complete. To begin with, she is a team leader, and being a competition it is the top position. In her head she is scheming non-stop, and without anyone noticing. She wants to lead her team to victory, whatever it takes. As a good strategist, she manages to come out unscathed, without getting her hands dirty. She is defiant in the face of adversity, as if wanting to meet it head on. You can love or hate the character, but she will not go unnoticed.

What will the audience see when they see you in the Capsul series?

They won't want to identify with her, because morally it doesn't look good. She's a despot and, even if that character puts you on top, the public tends to identify with the one who has the most fragile character. That doesn't mean that deep down, they don't want to be like her. Who doesn't like to come out on top in a stealthy way?

Why would you recommend the Capsul series?

Because the plot in question is life itself. The different characters are all around, each other. We are all like them. With their enthusiasm, worry, joy, sadness, and anger. It's an adrenaline rush that comes out of you. Capsul is fresh and dynamic, and the fact that it's made exclusively with girls makes it even more interesting.

Capsul, Ghomafilms' flagship project created by storyteller and content creator Javier Ghoma, is back with a variety of new features. Among them, the conversion of the novel to audiobook format. The public will have the privilege of listening to the narrative while successively contemplating image by image whose content reveals more and more of the plot of the story.
