Indian Achari Paneer Tikka

Ingredients

For the marinade

1 tbsp green chilli pickle

1/2 cup yogurt

1 tsp chopped garlic

1 tsp fennel seeds

1/2 tsp mustard seeds

1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds

1/4 tsp nigella seeds

1 tsp cumin seeds

1/4 tsp turmeric

1 tbsp mustard oil

Salt to taste

Other ingredients

1 1/2 cups paneer pieces

Oil, for frying and cooking

To serve

Mint chutney with yogurt

Procedure

To make achari marinade

Mix all the ingredients except yogurt in a mixer and prepare a smooth mixture.

Transfer the mixture to a deep bowl, add yogurt and mix well.

Next step

To make achari paneer tikka, add paneer to the prepared achari marinade, mix gently and keep aside to marinate for 20 minutes.

Arrange the marinated paneer pieces evenly on the satay sticks and keep aside.

Heat a non-stick pan, apply some oil on it, place a few satay sticks and cook on medium flame with a little oil till they turn golden brown on all sides.

Prepare the remaining satay sticks as per method number 3.

Serve the Achari Paneer Tikka immediately with Dahi Mint Chutney.
