How We Turned 150 Government Workshops in Dubai into Visual Stories

Over the past five years, we’ve had the chance to do something pretty unique sit in the room with some of Dubai’s top government leaders and literally draw out their ideas.

At Marker.ae, we don’t just take notes or build slide decks. We listen, we think, and we draw—live and on the spot. From strategy retreats to multi-agency planning workshops, we’ve been invited to more than 150 government sessions to help turn complex discussions into clear, visual maps.

So, what exactly do we do?

We specialize in visual strategy mapping. That means while leaders talk, brainstorm, and debate, we’re capturing the key ideas in real-time through drawings, diagrams, and keywords. Not everything has to be digital

Even though we offer digital options (and they’re great for remote teams), there’s something special about traditional, hand-drawn visuals. Watching your ideas come to life on paper feels real. It sticks with people in a way that screens sometimes don’t.

A lot of the government teams we work with still ask for the paper version. It’s tactile, personal, and honestly it just feels more meaningful.
