This has been happening for years and sadly it's still happening today. My first experience was with cryptodotcom who locked me out of thousands of $ without a real explanation, second was with freewallet but thanks to Spirassp . com ... the only company you can report crypto scam to and actually get your money recovered. Now I only use Binance or coin base. Both regulated platforms.
