We all know there is no beginning or end to one’s creativity as creativity is using our imagination, which everyone has. There are so many ways to use creativity, so let’s dive into it!

So what is creativity? Creativity is the ability to form valuable ideas by using their imagination to create something, this could be something physical or mental. It can be making something beautiful, or it can be solving simple or critical issues. And I know what you’re asking “how does creativity play into art?” That’s the question of the century isn’t it? Well! Using creativity is an art as simple as creating new ideas and inventing or making new things like sculptures, paintings, or in my case bookmarks. Some other ways are: expressing your creativity through skills, communicating complex ideas, or complex emotions. As well as expressing certain beliefs or experiences and expressing certain memories. And, art can even spark creativity!

A common misconception though is that you have to have artistic talent if you have a lot of creativity, but this is not true as creativity is mainly innovation and problem solving. Some more examples of creativity are: creating music, artwork, writing, and business innovations. So, why is creativity so powerful? This is because creativity opens the mind, it’s perspective, and it also helps us to overcome our prejudice against others. It’s also really helpful in healing because it can cause a distraction, gives you a sense of control, a sense of accomplishment, relaxation, relief from stress, anxiety or even physical pain.
